The house was very outdated and dirty. When we arrived there was at least an inch of sand on the lower deck, there was sand in the hot tub, the outside chairs were covered with sand. We had no internet, which was fixed quickly and the shower head in the upstairs hall bathroom fell off. This was so fixed the next day. The house had sand inside and we spent the first few hours of our vacation vacuuming and cleaning sand off the decks and the outside furniture. There was a shelf missing in the refrigerator, the master bed squeaked, the kitchen counters had sand on them, the dining room table was dirty and the grill was dirty. We noticed that the floor sloped down.

Easy access and check-in. Little hard to find the driveway the first time. Clean, quiet, and tight in the beach. Kid friendly home and pets allowed is great l!

Falling Sort

Upon arriving, the code to the door was management was called to resolve. The home seemed as it was not turned over sufficently. The floors were dirty. The main bathroom level was not clean. Dead cockroach in the same bathroom. Baseboards we're not cleaned and very dusty. There was that toilet paper in all bathrooms nor paper towels. Nothing for minimal, short term rental for guests. Called the management number for assistance and advised.If we had a welcome bag. There was not a welcome bag. Management was a little defensive rather than customer service oriented. Requested to advise management of our concern and the female who we are speaking with advice that she was management. Two individuals were sent to reclean the house the next day and not the same day. Hot tub was dirty and cold. The neighboring home advised also that our hot tub was bubbling over peior to oir arrival. Throughout the stay more cockroaches.. crawling in the house. Only certain areas of the home is remodeled, the listing ifoentje rental is not what it seems. The bathrooms are dated. The doors are dated and do not close correctly. There is carpet in the master bedroom. The shower and hot tub are completely dated. The countertops are dated. The shower knob has mold and falls off. Master bedroom mattress &the main level mattress completely uncomfortable, and the box springs are broken.,broken closet doors. Outer bank's blue is not a rmanagement company. We are still waiting to hear back on compens

Needs updating and fixing, but great location.

This house was in an amazing location but the house is worn out and there was a lot of things that needed to be fixed. The beds were really uncomfortable and needed to be replaced, the sliding glass doors needed to be washed (when we arrived), the tracks of the doors were so dirty we couldn’t fully open them. The dishes were not all fully clean. The shower curtain in the master wasn’t attached and fell when we used the shower. The closet door in another bedroom was off its track. The location was amazing, and with some updates and a good clean this would be a great house to stay in.

Perfect location

The location of the property was perfect, beach front and easy access to all the places my husband and I like to go to. Although the pictures don’t reflect it, the property is worn and not not as clean as other places we stayed managed by OBB. The cleaning folks don’t seem to scrub goop from sinks and toilets. The baseboards had dog hair on them. The furniture was pilled and seemed dirty. When you open the silverware drawer it fall out. It would have been dangerous with little kids. The sliding doors leading to the porch were FILTHY. Dog nose prints and dingy. I cleaned them when I got here so we could see through them to the view. Under the home was cluttered and messy, broken kite debris, broken swing and filthy grill. It seems the owners do not keep up with the property. We had a great stay but would not rent this home again. It’s pricey for the condition of it. I understand location, location, location. Note: we have always been pleased with Outer Banks Blue and will continue to rent from them.

Ocean View

I was happy with property, I did not consider it ocean front, it was more ocean view, the dunes prevented a good path to the beach, except to walk around and up. I also did not realize that we were right beside a public access. Ended up not being bad but in the middle of summer, I am sure that is a different story. Overall I enjoyed the house and its location.

Great view & relaxing on the porches. Enjoyed the home & decor, possibly a cheat sheet for using the TV & sound bar is needed. Hopefully will be returning:)

A trip to honor the final wishes of my brother and brother-in-law

The house was clean. The view was lovely. We didn't use the grill (there is a nice area set up for grilling at ground level), but did use the kitchen. The kitchen appliances were all in good working order. We were all in our sixties and traveled to the OBX to scatter my brother and brother-in-laws ashes at sea. The location of the house was convenient to pirates cove where the charter service was located. We noted that one commode seat hinge was broken when we arrived. Blue water immediately addressed the issue and had it repaired within an hour or two. This house is very charming. I suspect it has survived a hurricane or two (which just adds to the charm) I would gladly stay here again.

Great Place!

It was my first time in the Outer Banks and it was fantastic. The view at the Bluffs was fabulous; the sunrise was great even on a couple of cloudy days. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking but lacked essentials like coffee filters, salt & pepper, etc. I can’t reduce the rating for that, I’ll just plan for it if I book the same place again. I highly recommend the property, my stay was wonderful.

Beautiful relaxing setting

Property was even better than the pictures excellent location centrally located to anything in the outer banks. Close to shopping and restaurants. The home is decorated beautifully and had everything you could possibly need. Try to get to the deck early in the morning to catch the dolphins playing right out front!

Very Dirty!

This property has potential - but the housekeeping is TERRIBLE!! Dust everywhere (ceiling fans, door frames, surfaces, etc), "dead bugs" on walls ceilings that had been "flattened/killed" not removed, trash under beds, couches, etc. Will not be staying at this house again.

The house is gorgeous. It was just renovated and extremely clean. I liked the fact that it was tastefully decorated and there weren't a ton of knick knacks and personal possessions, less things to get in the way and distract. The kitchen has all the necessary cookware, the deck is really nice. TVs are smart TVs so you can watch through your apps if you like. The beds and baths have everything you need. The agency was very available and helpful. You are right on the beach. The deck has a beautiful view of the ocean, and was so nice to sit out. You are a few miles from busy nags Head so you have peace and quiet but convenience to restaurants and activities. There was no one in the next door duplex so it was completely quiet. Overall it was a perfect stay, and I'd love to be back right now!
