My family and I stayed here this past week and would definitely recommend this property. It is so peaceful and private. We loved that it is close to everything too, but away from the crowds. The house was clean and spacious and the owners were very responsive. They provided so much information ahead of time which was helpful. We hope to come back in the future!

Great Stay in OBX!

Had an amazing family vacation here! Great proximity to the beach and a very clean and comfortable house. The host was incredibly communicative and gave lots of information and recommendations for the area before check in. My daughter loved the pool and the place came stocked with tons of stuff for the beach. Highly recommend for a family vacation!

This was a great spot four our multi-generational family to enjoy summer vacation. The house was great and located in a spot that was removed from the congestion of the area. The small pool was an EXCELLENT move for our three kids under 6.

Wonderful stay

We had a great time staying here for a wedding in OBX. The house was very well stocked with things we needed, and even included a pack and play for our new baby. We enjoyed the hot tub and spending time on the deck. Would definitely book again. The owners were very kind and responsive when booking. Thanks for everything!

House was not the cleanest. Floors were sticky. Dish washer had a piece that seemed to be melted so we would not use. Had a toilet spring a leak from the handle so we’re without that for two of the days (but owner was very quick t respond)Should have checked beach areas as there was not much actual beach in this area due to storms and eroding

Great location

We loved the area close to everything but yet in a quiet neighborhood. Great for jogging, walking riding bikes. Close to the beach which was not crowded at all. Pool was nice. Owners were always quick to answer our texts and calls. Would definitely return if back in the area.

Great vacation!

We so enjoyed our stay here! Property was clean, comfortable and great location! So many extra were left such as toilet paper, garbage bags, soaps, laundry detergent, etc. Close to restaurants and grocery stores, but far enough away that the beaches were not crowded. We even were able to access the property earlier than expected. Nelene was great to deal with. Would definately rent again!

Paradise in OBX

Our first Spring Break in OBX and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay! The beach house was well stocked with everything we needed and close to all the places we wanted to visit!!

Great location for families

We stayed at the house during the 2023 winter holidays (December 23-30) and had a blast. The house was spacious, clean, well-organized, and generally well stocked. Guests included my spouse and me, our kids (ages 12), and two sets of in-laws. Things we loved about the property: - Spacious living room with plenty of seating and great ocean views. - Separate sunroom for reading or getting some space from family. - Highly functional kitchen with recently upgraded counters and appliances. - Ideal location (5 minute walk to the beach, less than one block from Cape Hatteras National Seashore, 10 minutes to grocery store and other shops). - Precise climate control. No problems with heat or air. - Plenty of towels and sheets provided as promised. - Well stocked with dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and started toilet paper. A few minor areas for improvement; - Property manager had our check-in date incorrect. House was ready, but we had to call to obtain the access code. - A few kitchen items were broken or non-functional (e.g., coffee carafe had crack in the bottom, kitchen scissors were very dull). - Check-out instructions posted on the fridge were slightly outdated and didn't match digital instructions. Overall, we had a terrific stay and would definitely reserve this property again if visiting the Outer Banks!

Great House & Location

House was clean and location was great. We went in early October and weather was perfect. The house is close enough to restaurants and shopping but far enough away from those things to feel quiet and relaxing. Would stay again if we come back to OBX!

Beautiful views, spacious and everything you need

The layout of this property is perfect for family or friends vacation. Spacious open common areas as well as a beautiful sunroom for reading, working or just enjoying the peace. Beautiful views from the wrap around deck. A great place for morning coffee, evening cocktails and watching the sunrise. Kitchen is fully equipped and we love to cook. They had everything we needed and then some. Beds are comfortable and everyone slept well. Rules of the house were outlined clearly and property management checked in with me at the beginning and end of our trip. Very friendly yet professional. Our family truly loved this property. So close to the beach access and beautiful pool on site. We highly recommend!

First Time OBX Visit

This was overall a great property with everything as advertised. The house was spotless on arrival and with the outdoor shower easy to keep clean during the week. It was nice that the fresh towels came wrapped so you knew they had been washed thoroughly. The beach access was relatively easy (id say about 7-10 min) from exiting door to sitting on beach walking with family and kids. The pool and hot tub were in great working order so easy to relax at home as well. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything needed to start the week and there are markets in town for everything else. I should mention the kitchen is stocked with everything (pans, pitchers, knives, etc). Overall - this was an easy and great experience and we will stay here again when we return to OBX.

Family Vacation

We just returned from another great Outer Banks vacation. Nelene is very easy to work with. We had no issues so we only communicated at check in and check out. Both times were very pleasant. The house is beautiful and in one of the most beautiful areas on the Outer Banks. Very quiet and tranquil but accessible to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc. We mainly utilized the house, pool, and beach. Beach access is only a short walk from the house. Wonderful stay

Beautiful house, clean and well organized. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare meals, beach access was close and it was just a short drive into town if we needed anything. The pool and hot tub were wonderful too.

Great family experience!

We just got home from our trip to Nags Head, and could not be happier with the house! We had communication with Nelene before, during (just a few questions), and after checking out. The house was very comfortable and had everything you need. Close to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. Will definitely return for our next trip!

Responsive Host & Comfortable Beach House

The host was very kind and responsive! We felt welcome staying at their beach house before we even arrived. She answered all of my questions almost immediately, before and during our stay. It is evident that a lot of time and effort was put into the details of preparing the beach house. My family and I felt comfortable during our stay.

Our first time to OBX was a success!

My favorite thing about this property was watching the remarkable sunsets from the back deck. The house also offers beautiful ocean views from the front deck, easy access to the beach. It was nice to have beach chairs provided, since we didn't bring any. My hubby is the cook in our family and was pleasantly surprised to find everything he needed to cook for our large family. The ice maker couldn't keep up with us making our fun drinks, but not a problem, we just bought a couple bags of ice. The pool area is nice and has plenty of lounge chairs. The hot tub was out of commission and unfortunately had to be replaced. Talk about service with a smile…We arrived on a Saturday, Nelene had a new hot tub delivered on Monday. We were able to enjoy it on Tuesday. Nelene was responsive and super nice to talk to. The check in process was easy. We really liked the fact that our linens were delivered in sealed plastic bags, reassured us that our linens were fresh and clean. It's a very short drive to Fish Heads, a waterfront pub with a nice fishing pier. Bodie's Island Lighthouse is super close too. Overall, this house was perfect for us! We enjoyed every bit of our stay in Nags Head. Thank you, Nelene for being a great host!
