Great location

This home was beautiful and worked well mostly for us. My issue was the bed comforters were not clean and covered in dog hair and a shower curtain in the middle bath had mold all over it. Other than that the home was clean. Also the hot tub had a very strong chlorine smell which burned my eyes. For the price I would have excepted those details to be taken care of but other than that the agent was very responsive and got us new blankets. It was just frustrating but we did have a nice stay other than a rough start and the hot tub issue. The pool was nice and the kitchen was great.

Great Family Location close to the Beach

I would recommend one of the 6 4 bedroom houses at this location. You can walk accross the street to the beach there is the Blue Moon restaurant and bar across the side street, the Food Lion is down the street as is the sea food shop on the east side of the street. The grill is adequate and works well. The place is very nice and especially clean. I would strongly recommend these locations you won’t be disappointed

Great Space & Amenities

Layout of the house was perfect for our party of 10 (6 adults + 4 teenagers)! Great location. The private hot tub & outdoor shower were amazing. The pool provided a good respite when we were too hot on the beach or wanted to wait out potential weather. We toured the event spaces which were absolutely beautiful & showed their attention to details. Communications were timely & thorough. Thanks Tara!

Beautiful house very nice location

The Ocracoke house is a part of signle family home community. It is located just a block from the beach. We were a group of 10 people with 3 kids and 1 infant , the home accomodated us very well. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is as advertised. We were provided with a strater kit with essentials like dish soap sanitizer garbage bags etc and also a wine bottle!Communication with Tara was very prompt. We all enjoyed the shared pool which was clean. The house is located very close to many restaurants and stores. Duck donuts is just a mile away! Will definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

Beautiful property!

What a property to stay at! The guest house is just beautiful, spacious, and wonderfully appointed. We have all the kitchen supplies we needed to cook. The pool was great and just a short 5 minute walk to the beach access. Parking under the house was nice and tons of space to keep all the beach gear. The outside private shower for each house was very nice to get clean prior to entering the house. Very clean as well.

Great Spot in Nagshead

We had a great time in the Ocrakoke house. Perfect spot for our 4 children. Beautiful house with a pool and a short walk to the beach across beach road. :) We loved our stay and 4 bedrooms/3 baths on 1 floor was exactly what we needed.

Amazing!

Such a fun Vaca, house was amazing and clean, beach was close by, and the amenities at the house were awesome! Didn’t have to really go anywhere else to enjoy your time. The house had it all!!

Glad to get away!

Our group of 8 had a wonderful week at Ocracoke Cottage! The walk to the beach access cannot be beat. The furnishings are new and beautiful. Gift baskets and supplies were perfect. Please know the parking is tight. We had to remove our car top carrier from our SUV for the week and you will need to be good at getting in and out of tight spots. Also, the kitchen seating is only for 6. We weren’t able to have all 8 of us sit and eat together. Other than those small issues - Haven on the Banks is truly a beautiful and wonderful place to stay for some time in the beautiful Outer Banks. We have been coming to Hatteras Island since 2007 and missed last year due to Covid. This year we couldn’t find a place on HI so took a chance with Nags Head. We enjoyed ourselves and thank Tara for having a beautiful place for us to enjoy for a week!

Wonderful getaway

This is a real gem of a beach house! It was immaculately clean, with a wealth of amenities. The pool is a great option for little kids, and the hot tub is a nice way to relax after a long day. The beach is easy to access and you can’t beat the central location. The fact that it’s part of a group of houses is ideal for a family reunion or a wedding party—we are keeping it in mind for family birthdays and get-togethers in the future. This was a great experience and we will be coming back!
