Perfect set up!

Check in was smooth, host was super helpful and quick to respond. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect with a quick walk to the beach and an easy drive to restaurants. I loved the back yard set up. With little kids, it was nice to allow them out back without worrying about them being near the pool. Parking was convenient and spacious. Plenty of beds and chairs/lounge areas. We really enjoyed our stay!They don't

Absolutely the best family vactation we have ever had & the luxuries & details of “Off the Hook” was one of the biggest reasons why! This beautiful, clean & comfortable home had everything we needed & so much more. And the owner was great at responding & giving great details of the area. We had a wonderful stay at off the hook and would come back in the future. The house was meticulously decorated with every needed amenity readily available. Easy access to the ocean, local establishments and private pool. A perfect getaway!

Great location !

First time in Nags Head and we loved it and the house was perfect for two families with young kids. We loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. Only downside was we didn’t realize it didn’t come with linens but there were plenty of places to buy linens nearby. Would def visit again, thanks !!

Great family vacation.

Very very clean home. The layout was perfect for our family of 7. It was a difficult hike to the beach for me though. Not so much the distance, but was an uphill walk in the sand part of the way. But the pool was wonderful!

Awesome home!

Off the hook was perfect for my families vacation. Location was absolutely perfect for walking to beach, to the grocery store, to shops, and Red Drum restaurant was right there too as well as a few other restaurants . A short walk to Dowdy Park and of course 1 block to my home made it great to see everyone. The pool and yard were a plus! Highly recommend this home.

Perfect location for family vacation!

This home was perfect for our family vacation (5 adults and 3 kids ages 9, 7, and 6). The weather was perfect for all but one day. It was a short walk to the beach so we could easily run back to the house if we needed anything. A few of us surfed in the mornings (rented a board from Outer Surf). When the kids had enough sun and sand play, we'd head back to the house, rinse off in the outdoor shower (this made it really easy to keep the house and pool clean!), and take a dip in the pool. We also played badminton and threw a softball around in the yard (we brought all the equipment). When we got hot, we'd just jump in the pool - it was the perfect setup! The day it rained, we played games (the house has several and we brought a few) and watched movies. We walked to Booty Treats (appreciated that they had non-dairy options as a few of us have dairy allergies), Red Drum Grill, SeaGreen Gallery (we visited multiple times to take in the zen garden in the back), Traveler's Moon (my 9 year old loved the crystals), Front Porch Cafe for coffee and breakfast treats, and Christmas Mouse (my mother was in holiday heaven). We also played mini golf, just a short drive away. The house was very clean and well stocked. We found everything we needed in the kitchen or laundry room. It was great to have multiple decks and places to relax inside/outside. We are so grateful to have found this gem! We definitely plan to come again and highly recommend!

Our fourth stay in this house

We have stayed in this house four times. The weather was fantastic. The ocean was nice and warm, which is unusual for June. The pool was great very clean not too much chlorine in it. The house is always clean and well appointed. We have no complaints. There was a small plumbing problem while we were there and I contacted the host and she had a plumber out the very next morning to fix it. She was very attentive and very responsive, we enjoy our stay there so much will be back next year

Good Location

Good property. Good location. Easy walk to beach, Booty Treats ice cream, coffeehouses, Christmas Mouse. Shopping and restaurants all in close distance to the property, but the house has everything you'll need if you plan to cook at home. The pool is a great alternative for swimming and laying out too. Sunrises and moonrises were awesome in September. The location was great!

This is the third time we have stayed at this property. It is a great location a beautiful house and just overall a really wonderful place to vacation. The owners make it so easy and they’re very responsive to any questions or communication that you need.

Wonderful!

We had the best time at ‘Off the Hook’. Not only was the decor adorable, but it was spotless! I have used VRBO to book most of our beach rentals. Normally I spent the first few hours having to clean and wipe down the house (total clean freak here!). Jessica’s home was the first one that I did not feel like I had to. It was spotless!! It had everything we needed and I was really able to relax the first moment we arrived. Jessica herself was also lovely, she was incredibly responsive. Best rental at the beach!

Great Pool & Beach Access

Our family had a wonderful vacation in OBX and enjoyed staying at Off the Hook. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the beach which is right across the street. The home had everything we needed and was very clean and well maintained. Jessica was also very helpful and prompt with her responses. Highly recommend Off the Hook!

Family getaway

Off the Hook was the perfect fit for our family OBX trip. We arrived to find a very clean and organized beach house that more than exceeded our needs and expectations. The family room/large kitchen/dining room combo was perfect for us to mingle, eat and play games. We also loved the pool on warmer days when it was too hot to go to the beach. The house had many areas to relax in the sun or shade, and to find time to yourself away from others if needed. We have no complaints at all. We loved this home and look forward to a return trip soon. There are many things to do in the area. Our teens enjoyed mini golf and trips to Booty Treats for ice cream. Thanks again for a great family beach week.

2023 vacation

My granddaughters said it was the best vacation ever. House was really nice. Just a simple walk to beach. Had 3 good days on beach then the rain came, but can't control that, so we found other things to do. Swimming pool was the greatest. Nice size.
