Enjoy a lemonade on the front porch & watch the world go by on a Summer night or wine by the fire on a chilly one. Park your cars in the driveway and walk to amazing restaurants and wonderful downtown attractions in 2-5 mins! For water enthusiasts public dock, boat ramp, transient dockage, and kayak & paddle board rentals are all across the street. Concerts, boat tours , art fairs ,seaport & aquarium all so close! Enjoy 2 wonderful beaches; Esker Point and Williams are 2.3 miles in each direction. Award winning Sift bakery is 1/3 of a mile away! Capt. Daniel Packer is across the street just .13 of a mile! Central AC & heat, large eat-in kitchen and dining room that seats 10. Beautifully appointed cottage only 5 min walk form downtown Mystic.Couldn't recommend this place more as a base to explore the charming Mystic/Westerly area.

This was a great experience all around. A fantastic location (walking distance from restaurants, bars and shops), a clean and well maintained property with great amenities. I would not only recommend staying here, but I will most likely try and come back next year.

Location, location, location! This adorable home is just 2 blocks from charming downtown Mystic. We walked into town every day we were here for world class dining, shopping, and strolling around this beautiful town. The home is lovely and freshly renovated. The beds and linens were comfortable. The bathrooms were nice and modern. The kitchen is state of the art. The host was responsive, and even left us a gift card to a bakery/coffee shop within walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again.

The home was perfect for our family visit during parents weekend with our cadet at the Coast Guard Academy. Great location with easy access to downtown Mystic, clean, and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay agin in the future.

This is the prettiest, cleanest, warmest home we've ever stayed in! From the new appliances to the decorative touches, the Secret Mermaid is charming. My book club friends cozied up to the fireplace on a stormy night. It was a perfect New England stay.

Another great stay

This is our second year and it was as good as the first. Jon and Mia are great hosts, always responsive and want to make the best of your stay. This property has all you need and is so close to great restaurants, downtown shops and the Seaport Museum. Will stay again!

Great family stay!

I highly recommend to stay in the secret mermaid, great location, walking distance to Mystic restaurants, shops and museums. The house was perfect. And the hosts are just amazing. We had a wonderful family time!

Mia and Jon's property was great for a Thanksgiving trip to visit family nearby. It was very clean with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and stocked with great hand soaps and mini toiletries. It was an easy walk to Mystic Pizza, Sift bake shop, shopping and the drawbridge. We enjoyed our stay and Mia thoughtfully added decorative touches to the home for our Thanksgiving celebration. We hope to be back soon.

The Secret Mermaid was a hit with my family. They all want to stay again when we visit my sister and her family in Noank. We were able to walk into Mystic easily. Comfortable beds, easy kitchen to work in, beautifully appointed bathrooms with fluffy towels, great dining room for 10 and lovely living room with a great fireplace.
