"Excellent location, very good property Because it’s a historic building dating to 1845, there ARE a couple quirks that should probably be fully disclosed Specifically: VERY steep stairs with shallow treads (with both bedrooms & bathroom on the top floor), and several abrupt transitions between rooms (especially kitchen to dining room)These could be quite hazardous to anyone with limited mobility or any kind of balance issue The property is charming, in a perfect location (easy walk to many...

"The house was spotless! We only stayed 1 night but the place is comfortable enough for a week’s stay in Mystic. Very convenient location, quiet street, and plenty of space for a family or small group. The water heater temp needs to be adjusted. The hot water gets extremely hot and I nearly scalded myself washing dishes."

"Excellent location and great accommodations. Enjoyed the kayaks that were available for guest use. 15ish min walk into town with sidewalks for most of the way. My daughter loved the hammock they have under the tree and the fire pits next to the water were great in the evening. We didn’t make use of the bicycles but they were well equipped with 10 beach cruiser type bikes. I was concerned about the proximity to the train tracks but slept fine. Appears to be passenger trains only, which are short...

"In my experience 4 bedrooms with 4 king beds is a rare find, but ideal for recreating with our three adult children & their spouses, plus a small dog. Each bedroom accommodated its king sized bed and guest’s baggage, without being cramped. TV in each bedroom plus one in upstairs and downs stairs living areas, which were both well furnished. Everything was clean and well organized. Kitchen well equipped - cookware, tableware, cutlery, etc. Cabinets stocked w/ essentials & extras; Essential small...

"My family and I have been coming to Mystic for over 10 years and renting properties around town, but I can undoubtedly confirm that this property tops all others. The external aesthetic gives you that wonderful sigh as you approach the home, and the interior carries that through beautifully with it's attention to detail through the home to stay true to that classic new england style. The open concept, backyard, porch, and kitchen layout make it ideal for getting a big group together to play...

"Lovely property, with great views and access to kayaks, paddle boards and peddle boats for added fun. They also had a large tented area by the dock that allowed a shaded area which was perfect as we had an infant with us. We rented both the first and second floors together which worked great for six adults and an infant. The second floor was smaller than the first - a smaller living area and kitchen, and a little two-chair deck - but comfortable for what we needed. The home was sound proof...
