Beautiful condo at a wonderful resort

The spacious condo was beautifully decorated with great unobstructed views of the ocean. This oceanfront condo was perfectly described and the host was so helpful through the whole process. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to relax on the beach and is great for children.

Enjoyed location. Bedrm #2 did not have a closet ( full of beach furniture we did not use), bdrm #3 had to either climb over bed to get to closet or move furniture around to access. No hangers in these 2bdrms. Comfy beds.

The apartment was beautiful and the view was second to none. The bad, - The Jacuzzi tub was inoperable - The main waste line may need to be snaked because all three lavatories drained slow. - The trim work on the thresholds during the new floor installation was subpar. - One threshold for the bathroom in the hallway was not tacked down properly and moves freely. - There was most certainly a dead mouse inside the pots/pans cabinet which we could tell simply by the smell emanating, so none of that cookingware was used. Would most certainly recommend fixing these issues to maintain the rating you advertise the property at. All that being said, so as long as the issues are fixed, we would return to property in the future.

Amazing place

We had a fantastic time at Island Vista. The condo was excellent. Louise was great. She answered all our questions both before and during our stay. The place was very clean. It had beach toys, beach chairs and an umbrella, which made packing the car easier. The linens were exceptional. The complex was great during the hurricane. It had an indoor pool and the restaurant was nice so we didn’t have to go outside. We would definitely come back.

Great Vacation Spot!

This property was amazing! The condo was as pictured and had all the essentials for a great week at the beach! Check-in and out was seamless and communication with Louise was efficient. The resort was amazing! Their tiki bar, indoor bar, dining area, and indoor and outdoor pools were amazing! My family and I cannot say enough good things and plan to be back for family vacation next year! Highly recommend!!

Amazing place

We stayed here for a dance competition. 2 adults, 4 kids. The place was terrific. Just as advertised. Positives: clean, high floor, direct view of the ocean, brand new patio set on the balcony, easy parking, nice towels, ice maker in freezer, coffee maker could make drip and keurig coffee, the pool was nice, right on the beach, plenty of room to spread out, 10-15 min drive to everything. Negatives: the dryer would randomly shut off so we had to keep an eye on it, no shampoo/conditioner or body soap was supplied so we had to buy 3 sets for the 3 bathrooms, it was a little dark for us even with the lights turned on. Most of the other families stayed at the dunes. We definitely chose better. If we ever come back, I would definitely book this location again.

Nice Condo

We were in the area for a convention and stayed with two other couples. The condo was nice sized, large kitchen and living room and the bedrooms were all nice. The area was quiet and clean. Around the pool area could use a cleaning but it’s the end of the season and I’m sure they’re about to close for the winter. My only and biggest complaint about the actual condo was the balcony. It was much smaller than the photos looked and the furniture was in terrible condition. The chairs were broken, the table rusted and garbage (broken chairs, cardboard boxes) were stacked in one corner. They had left fold out chairs to use in place of the broken patio chairs. None of them were comfortable. I did notify the owner and she said if they weren’t serviceable they could send someone out with more. I didn’t feel it was necessary as they were “serviceable” for the remainder of our stay, 3 nights. I do think for the price those are the little things that make a rental property truly nice. We enjoy our time on the balcony and couldn’t spend much time because the situation with the chairs. Overall the place was nice. The inside was clean, with plenty of dishes to cook. I would stay again if they remedied the balcony furniture.

The condo was very clean and high-end. The kitchen had all of the appliances you would need. The beds were comfortable. The communication with the contact was easy, and she was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Great Condo

Great Condo!! Very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable! Slept better than my new bed at home. The resorts pools, restaurant and staff were also great. There were singers performing outside by the pools/outdoor bar that was nice when we hung out at the pool. Resort is located between some personal residences so the beach is not as crowded as the beaches in front of multiple hotels side by side. Host responded quickly to any questions we had and was always very nice. My only minor complaint is that some of the legs on the metal chairs, around the table on the balcony, had rusted from the salt air so you could not sit on them. Still gave 5 stars since everything else was great.
