"Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean."

"An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions."

"No SPA was available as was advertised."

"The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not...

"Nos encantó la decoración del hotel y de la habitación. Las sabanas, cama y almohadas muy cómodas. La atención excelente. Muy bien ubicado cerca de los pueblos mas turísticos pero en las afueras para estar rodeados de vistas y vegetación. "

"Great value for the money. Bunk Bed was too firm."

"Lovely place but one woman Catrina was amazing as she was left to do everything, check us in , run the pub and restaurant. The room was not very clean. I am handicap and it was hard to get around. "

Mould can cause serious risk to health when inhaled and given we had people with asthma in our group its a blessing it didnt cause and harm at this time. The female bathroom was infested in flies. All over the toilet paper and trapped between the sheets of the toilet paper, nevermind the amount in the sink and the...

"Pros: Beautiful cottage, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds Cons: Living room can get very hot at the height of summer (main window has no shutters) Better go via Sykes or Lakelovers."

"Lovely home in the Lake District. The parking can be tricky during the day so arrive after five and there’s no issue. "

"Really comfy, warm apartment with all the facilities needed. Perfect for the village, pubs and shops"
