"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. "Absolutely beautiful room and bathroom. Tiny issue was it was a little chilly and we couldn’t get it to warm up. The manager did his best to help as it was late when we realised. However we were superbly cosy under the duvet and blanket anyway! The location was spot on. Beautiful area. The self check in was easy. Would be great to hire a few rooms and then use the kitchen and cellar room downstairs for group socialising. Thoroughly recommend. "
