The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

It was a nice relaxing stay in Garden City and Driftwood had plenty of room and amenities. The only real issue we encountered was cleanliness, which would be on the cleaning crew not the home owner. We spent the first day wiping up and cleaning all surfaces and floors because they were sticky and ants were everywhere. There was urine in one of the toilets and feces in another. Trash cans in bathrooms were not emptied and the kitchen trash cans had clean bags but smelled like rotten food and had to be washed. The rest of the week we had to be sure to keep all food in storage tubs we had with us or in the refrigerator or it would be covered with ants. My daughter opened her sheets and they had makeup stains every where and the comforter on her bed was full of sand. It would also be recommended that a dust mop be used under all beds and furniture as it was thick enough to write a novel in plus there were leftover toys either from a child or pet found in the dust as well. This was all very surprising to us as we received the text that our rental was ready at 10:44 am and check in wasn’t suppose to be until 4:00 pm so there was no rush and it could have been properly prepared. Due to the ants we were unable to enjoy any meals around the big lovely table as a family because ants would start appearing and the placemats on the table were filthy so we removed them immediately. Sorry to go on and on but we have stayed in Garden City before and always used a different realty company and have never encountered these types of issues. I will close with the view was beautiful, the hot tub and pool were nice when the weather cooperated, and the homeowner has decorated the home beautifully.
