"The host welcomed us with a great gift basket full of NZ goodies. The house is extremely well maintained and clean, wonderful outdoor spaces, short walks to the bird colony and beach (if you like hills), and there was a fantastic selection of games to play with your family. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything a traveler needs. It was a great weekend!"

"Such a lovely change from the usual! We loved sitting on the porch looking out onto the beautiful rolling countryside. Nights were quiet and dark. TV/WIFI were great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was cozy, but fine. Queensize bed. Excellent communication. Fine parking. Only minus for us was that the sheets were of linen ... not a pleasant skin feel for me."

"Such an excellent place to spend a night away. It had everything we needed and despite only being a quick drive to the city, it felt like a different world. We loved lighting the fireplace and it also meant the house stayed cosy all night and into the following morning. The place was clean, comfortable and we loved the extra attention to details. Meeting the animals was an added bonus! Vaughan was a great host, excellent communication and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!"

"What a magical stay at an amazing cabin. Well fitted out with everything you will need. We loved all the little details the host has provided to make the stay so much more special. We enjoyed the outdoor bath and sitting around the open fire with a drink. A well worth while stay and recommend to everyone. Well done!"
