The entire experience at this property was beyond exceptional. You have absolutely everything you need for accommodations. The grounds are plush serene and pretty. Host is super receptive to any questions or needs. Views around property are breathtaking. It is a little slice of heaven!

Lovely fairyland

We loved staying here! The hosts were so friendly and helpful and even left us with milk, bread, butter and a homemade apple pie. The house was well equipped and very clean!

Beautiful property

Beautiful exclusive quiet place, immersed in nature. The place has everything we need, utensils, sauce, you name it, the host have thought of it. It is the attention to details that made the stay great.

Fantastic owners and accommodation

The owners John and Ruth were amazing with their communication and all details regarding the property. The accommodation was clean and felt very inviting. The property is very beautiful and is a wonderful place to stay, especially for families. It is a wonderful place to stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Weddings eve

Had a big family wedding at chapel hill retreat, and found hunting lodge convenient, well appointed and most enjoyable. A BBQ with drinks and the fire on was everything the blue mountains represents,the owners were extemely helpful either left belongings, thank you John and Ruth for a wonderful stay we look forward to staying again in the future.

My Tomah

Very nice location for an extended family Christmas. Comfortably accommodated the large group. The poor WI FI connection bothered some members of the group.

Pre wedding family stay

We had our entire bridal party parents and grandparents all stay together for an overnight stay only minutes away from our wedding venue the weather was so cold and unpredicted in the middle of summer this accommodation had a fireplace in both the lodge and cottage and kept us warm all night we enjoyed our stay I can highly recommend this accommodation very comfortable and clean thank you to our host for your extremely efficient communication throughout the entire process

Fantastic Property & Location

A very comfortable property that is very well maintained at a picturesque location. We booked it for 15 of us for a boys weekend in the mountains and everyone just loved it. Beautifully decorated, warm and cosy bedding, great kitchen with breakfast supplies, stunning views with colourful parrots was pure joy for us all. Thanks John and Ruth for a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back again.

Comfortable Clean and Cozy

We spent the weekend as a family here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lodge and the cottage were both very comfortable, clean and cozy. As it is July, it was rather cold outside but the accommodation was warm and had everything we needed, including a fantastic breakfast ready in the fridge for us on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable, with the added benefit of electric blankets to keep us warm!The only down side was the poor mobile reception and limited wifi which also meant no smart TV. Just something to be aware of if you were expecting to connect. But overall, a really great experience.

Thanks John for the lovely place you have at Huntington L&C. We had a lovely stay it was like going to one's own home. Everything was labelled clearly, plenty of supplies and very neat. Thanks for the generous breakfast supply and yummy pie. Both cottages were clean n neat, especially the beds, also very picturesque location. Lots of games and activities for kids. Only issue was WiFi connection was slightly poor. Thankyou once again for your hospitality, we will surely come back.

Mount Tomah Huntington Lodge Is FANTASTIC!

We can't speak highly enough about our stay here. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations! We rented the whole property for a 2 night work retreat and everything was spotlessly clean and super comfortable...we didn't want to leave. The property is incredibly well stocked with so many extra little goodies that it was a real pleasure pottering around in the kitchen too. Beds are comfy, great pillow options, fireplaces are great, living areas extremely welcoming. The added bonus were the bird feeders in the gardens which come stocked with seed for you to put out, and when you do, the birdlide is incredible - could sit and watch them for hours. Would come back in a heartbeat :-)

Celebrating my dad's 80th birthday

Amazing! We booked Huntingdon Lodge and Cottage for the 10 of us to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday in early July. John and Ruth are outstanding communicators and thoughtful hosts in every way. From the lovely birthday gift for my dad to the very generous and delicious Sunday morning breakfast provisions and freshly baked and locally source apple pie! What you see is what you get (although the driveway going in was a little steep but OK :) ) I truly do hope to return one day with family or introduce friends to it too ... I have been telling whoever will listen to me as to just how great it is! Thank you John and Ruth!

Stunning location that is cosy and comfortable

The hosts make check is so easy and we had complete privacy. We were welcomed with a yummy apple pie and all the essentials to make our stay comfortable. John checked with us beforehand to ensure everything went smoothly and we appreciated all the extra special treats left for us. Very. I'd love to return in the winter to make the most of the open fire.

Amazing property

John and Ruth are amazing hosts. The breakfast supplies and Apple Pie and cream was such a surprise. The attention to detail was superb. Comfortable beds, lovely linen, very warm and cosy. I highly recommend this property. If you are looking for peace and an escape from a hectic life. Look no further. We will definitely rebook.

This place is is an enchanting gem and you want for nothing.It is secluded and so well appointed with wonderful manicured gardens and well patronized bird feeders outside both dwellings.With a pre-prepared wood fire awaiting you it feels very comfy.The instructions for everything were so well detailed and easy to follow and the supplied breakfast (excellent sausages) and great apple pie were tops. You won't be disappointed with your stay

Wonderful weekend

We had a great experience and very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Lots of room for everyone, spotlessly clean. They had provided us with all breakfast supplies fresh milk, fresh juice, sausages, bacon ,eggs and apple pie. A great place to spend the weekend with friends and family. Lodge & Cottage Escape

What a lovely property, perfect for our regular group catch up. Very well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, surprised to find a yummy apple pie and cream waiting for us along with bacon, eggs, sausages, cereals and staple essentials. A lovely gesture and much appreciated. Cosy warm fireplaces ready to go, all we had to do was light it. The beds were comfy and the lodge and cottage had a very homely feel. The grounds were very well manicured and we explored the gardens. Only 2 minutes away from the Blue Mountains Botanic gardens and we’ll worth a visit. Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy your property. We will be back.

Magical place

We had our intimate wedding at this magical place and it was absolutely lovely. All the thoughtful touches around the property and the comfort of the Lodge and the Cottage made our special day memorable. If you are thinking to stay here we highly recommend it!

Autumn Escape

Our group stayed in the lodge and cottage for a family wedding. Couldn’t fault the place. Cosy in the mountains with fireplaces and air con. Full supply of breakfast essentials plus a pantry of every condiment you would need, and a few additional goodies thrown in as well. Lovely beds, beautifully decorated and stunning grounds. Thanks John and Ruth for a great stay and help with our booking requests.
