Unique and tranquil garden cabin.

Setting absolutely wonderful with dozens of parrots coming to feed. Owners take great care of their visitors with full breakfast provisions and more. Lovely to have a cozy fire at night and extraordinary to be so close to all the wonder the Blue Mountains can offer.

A beautiful mountain retreat

The owners of this property go above and beyond in creating a warm welcome. The cottage is very well equipped, in a beautiful garden setting with lots of birds, just minutes from Mt Tomah Botanical garden, - there was even a home made apple pie in the fridge (and cream) waiting for us along with other goodies to enjoy on our arrival. The cottage is well appointed, warm and peaceful and we loved the privacy and opportunity to unwind in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend.

peaceful and tranquil

So cosy with beautiful little touches . Lovely breakfast provisions and apple pie and even surprise of chocolates for hubby's birthday left us feeling very spoilt. The bed is so comfortable with fire to keep you warm and toasty. The birds that visit are so beautiful. Definitely a place you want to return to again and again

a peaceful rejuvenating break

A beautifully presented cabin with many special touches. The well stocked pantry first morning breakfast and surprise pie and cream left us feeling very spoiled thank you. The wood fire was so cozy in an unusually cold February topped off with a comfortable warm bed we had the best sleeps in years. The birds were amazing. Thank you for sharing this beautiful part of the world

Fantastic gem

We wanted for nothing. Food in the fridge on arrival. Perfume in the bathroom, shampoos etc.. all cooking utensils, teas, coffee, pods, games, DVD’s, books, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, torches, clear instructions throughout, beautiful room deodorants, blankets, very comfortable seating, options to eat outside on verandah, BBQ, birdseed for a feeder, beautiful sculptured tree driveway.

Perfect mountain getaway.

Apple pie, wood fire and King parrots next to the balcony. Easy drive to golf courses and springtime gardens at Mt Wilson. Everything you need is supplied by the owners. Wonderful retreat from Sydney.

Beautiful garden cottage

After an initial hiccup with check in, which seemed connected to glitch in platform and John rushed to address immediately, we eased into a clean and welcoming cottage set within exquisite gardens just a minute up the road from Mt Tomah’s botanical gardens. We were grateful for a very generous breakfast hamper and I was extremely grateful when John not only found my license and ATM card accidentally dropped in their garden after we left but express posted them to me - thank you John and Ruth for sharing your lovely home with us and we hope to return one day!

Exceptionally high standard of accommodation.

From the moment we entered the property up until the time we left 6 days later, we were nothing but impressed. The smallest detail was met and the hosts provided well over and above what was expected or even required. We ended up extending our stay an extra night because of this! Absolutely loved it, will be back and will be the most recommended accommodation to our families and friends!

Peaceful and serene

Thank you John for the wonderful breakfast provisions and apple pie! My friend and I had lunch at the Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens but did not have time for desert, then we arrived at the cottage to find apple pie and cream in the fridge! Such a wonderful addition! We loved your comfortable cottage, so peaceful and serene. Loved the beds and the double shower heads. Best selection of DVDs I have ever seen! We came to relax and that's exactly what we did! My only suggestion is to perhaps put the brooms in the broom cupboard (Feng Shui)!

Unit fully furnished and provisioned. Excellent experience.

Isolated location perfect for a getaway. No internet however Sydney TV channels available and a good range of DVD on-site. Bedrooms extremely comfortable. Walks on the property were limited however Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens were 5 minutes by vehicle down the road. Only complaint was a temperamental washing machine that had to be coaxed through every cycle.

The perfect mountain getaway!

My husband and I have just had a delightful time at Huntington Cottage. John and Ruth have thought about everything: a fridge stocked with goodies, luxurious bedroom and bathroom linen, plenty of kindling for the fire. The location is great for bushwalking and taking it easy in the mountain air. We highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway!
