"The place was amazing and exactly as described. Chris met me upon arriving and showed around the house, gave ideas on trails and things to do. He even had a dog crate there and a fully fenced kennel outside. Books, sucked kitchen, bathroom, and the views were simply amazing from every room. The craftmanship of the home is outstanding and my understanding is he built the home and all the furniture himself. Outstanding. Would rent again for another getaway."

"Two friends and I recently stayed at this lovely VRBO, and we'd recommend it to others! For three adults looking to spend a day at the Great Sand Dunes National Park, this home was the option that allowed for the best sleeping arrangement for the cost. Despite it being ~55min drive from the national park, it was well worth it to stay here! The home is quite remote and close to the base of the mountains, which we enjoyed as it allowed for lovely stargazing and a peaceful/quiet environment....

"Visiting Alamosa CO in the summer is just about perfect. Staying in this sunny, cheerful well appointed home topped off a delightful visit. The location is great. "It was a pleasant little cozy place. Peaceful and quiet. Host was available if needed. There is plenty to do fairly near by if are looking for some unique experiences. One thing, kitchen sink stopper needs replaced. But found another way to do the small amount of dishes that we dirtied. Overall was very pleased with the experience. "This property was a perfect home base for our family's trip to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Communication prior to arrival could have been better. I messaged the property owner via the VRBO app the day before check-in and then texted the morning of our arrival because I hadn't received any check-in instructions. Onsite property manager Reed was friendly and welcoming and quick to share helpful tips about the area."

"This was perfect for our family, as five bedrooms (and the washer/dryer) came in handy. The binder on the property was great, and we liked Crestone and the surrounding area a lot. It was a bit of a drive to the Sand Dunes entrance, but we knew that ahead of time, and the location worked well."

"This home was the perfect location for our visit to the Sand Dunes. The property is very well kept and even nicer than the listing in my opinion. There were many thoughtful details the host provided like sand toys, a first aid kit, and games for varying ages. There were even classic Nintendo games for us adults to enjoy! "Over we had a great experience! Bathrooms were incredibly clean! You must be okay with dogs occasionally barking, one of the owners dogs even came into our yurt but he was super friendly! Super close to the sand dunes and zapata falls! The yurt was closer to the house and camper than I thought but definitely a safe area! We took a walk around the subdivision and it was super nice with pretty views! The host is very on top of things and communicates well! I would stay again!!!"
