"all good, clean and friendly "

"Todo perfecto "

"We enjoyed our stay. The meals in the dining area were excellent, and the staff were wonderful."

"Good shower and clean"

"This is an older property, that shows its age. I stayed in a room that was part of the main tower building; the room was a nice size and clean. I really appreciated the fridge and microwave + dishes provided. The front receptionist was lovely and kind, I felt so lucky to be able to check in early which afforded me more time to explore. The motel is about a 10 minute bus from Hobart cbd but there are so many bus stops nearby and with the public transit being free it was dead east to get to town....

"Absolute scam – avoid Nightcap at Carlyle Hotel. Expedia must delist it. Booked through Expedia and paid several hundred dollars. Then came pre-check-in links that tried to charge me the full room rate again. Completely senseless. At check-in they demanded a $100 card deposit. Never properly disclosed. Normal hotels swipe for a $1 authorisation. Here they wanted a full hundred after I’d already paid. When I objected to this unreasonable demand the manager refused service and denied me the room....

"La esterilla incorporada en el colchón fue una grata sorpresa"

"This is a beautiful boutique hotel on Elizabeth Pier in Hobart. It is a superb location and close to all the tourist spots so great for exloring Hobart on foot. The staff are very friendly and helpful even during a fire evacuation. Highly recommended."

"Our stay at this accommodation was exceptionally wonderful. The property itself was absolutely beautiful—timeless, elegant, and truly a special place to relax and unwind. Every detail contributed to a memorable experience, and we had such a great stay from beginning to end. A special mention must go to Philip, who was simply amazing. He attended to all of our needs with genuine warmth and care, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. In the evening, he made us drinks and desserts...

"Food was amazing! Service friendly and nice BUT Air conditioning was malfunctioning. The room was really, really cold!! "

"La verdad un hotel con un servicio excelente, la habitación amplia y muy limpia, muy bien ubicado muy cerca del Salamanca Market y de la zona del centro. Me gustó mucho."

"Excelente. Pero cuidado, las fotos, descripciones y precios de las habitaciones son incorrectos en hoteles.com Contratamos una habitacion superior y se nos dio una en la planta baja sin vista alguna. Pudimos cambiar, pero dormimos en 3 cuartos distintos los 3 días que estuvimos gracias a la amabilodad de los dueños y la disponibildad de cuartos, pagando la diferencia."

"Last second booking turned into a really nice stay. Old-building character with all the modern amenities. The host was more than gracious. 100% recommend."

"Everything about the property was amazing and I highly recommend it to others. The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated with everything that you could possibly need. The gardens are also very lovely. "

"Great property, great location, bed a bit too firm, and everything was great untill the white ute with the yellow flashing light showed up with his Doofa music vibrating the walls. Probably saved me bringing my alarm clock, but still not appreciated especially when he got out and walked somewhere leaving the door open snd the disco blasting."

"Outstanding historic guest house brimming with antiques and character. Beautiful gardens. Really comfortable bed and lovely shower. Very attentive staff. Would highly recommend as a great place for singles or couples."
