Stunning location, ideal if looking for a quieter more intimate hotel but with the option to go to a sister hotel for the party vibes if needed. The staff are wonderful and go over and above each day to ensure your time there is special.

We just spent 7 nights at Royal Plantation. What a beautiful and special place. The grounds are immaculately kept and there is a great sense of pride from all staff in making the resort feel more like a home away from home. Every single staff member we interacted with were so friendly and took time out of their day to stop and have a chat. We loved meeting all of them. We always felt so well taken care of. There was nothing that was ever too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our butlers Anthony and Robert made us feel so special and we loved all the little surprises they arranged. The general manager Omar is a huge credit to Sandals and does an incredible job making you aware of his presence and checking in on us to ask if there was anything we needed. The food and drinks are 10/10 we did not have a bad meal and there were many stand out dishes. We hope to be back and see everyone again very soon. Thank you

The Royal Plantation is amazing for a quiet and romantic getaway. The staff was amazing from Omar, the resort manager, to out butlers Orayne/Safiya and all the staff. The rooms, scenery and service was top notch! We will return very soon!

Omg book this resort now. By far the best vacation ever!! The manager Omar was very friendly and wonderful. The entire staff make you feel very relaxed and welcome. Our butler Anthony and Robert wow amazing!!! Anthony always went above and beyond and was just pleasant. If you are looking for 5star service and a very relaxing vacation don’t search any further. Best part is they have a shuttle that goes to the other sandles property so you will never get bored.

This was the most amazing vacation, the service was top notch, our butlers were so sweet and accommodating, the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms and views were lavish and we loved the privacy and quiet. Anyone looking to be pampered on the beach with gorgeous views, this is your place!

We loved the quiet and serene surroundings.The service was excellent and everyone from the bar tender ,servers ,entertainment,transportation and butlers were amazing. The resort is beautiful but what makes the experience outstanding were the people who work tirelessly at the resort to make you feel welcomed . This resort has a sense of intimacy as it is nestled in a quiet corner with scenery to die for. It only has 74 ocean view suites as opposed to the 500 in Ochi, which allows the staff to be more interactive and personal with you. This resort had guests of different age ranges, but in my opinion is suited for individuals who are looking to relax with their significant other rather than party We opted for the butler suite with an ocean view and was blown away by the service we received by our butler Duwainey. Our Anniversary trip was amazing Will Definitely return.

We had a fantastic time! Chase and Neil were incredible. The resort is quiet and the French restaurant out of this world. Make sure to make your reservation at least a day before. If you want a soufflé for dessert you need to make sure to let your butler know 24 hours a head of time. Trust me the vanilla or chocolate soufflé is worth it. And the chef brings it out to the table. Definitely will be back.

Beautiful property with a fantastic staff. This was our first Sandals experience and it was everything we had hoped. We celebrated our anniversary and they made it very special. It’s a smaller property that’s more intimate and definitely quieter than the big resorts. There were a couple days there were only three other couples at the beach. The butler service took a couple days to get used to, but once we did it was great. Andre and Javon were excellent! The entertainment staff, bartenders cleaning staff and everyone else were exceptional. Can’t wait to do it again!

Service was on the whole really good, except we got ghosted by one butler 🙃 the property is really nice, but a bigger pool would be nicer. The best part was easy access to hillside pool on the sister property 😄 we got an ocean view room but there was barely a view of the ocean. Bed was a little too soft for me, and water in bathtub drained too slow (we complained 3 times). Overall I’m still rating it 5 stars because we had a fun time, and the staff on the whole seemed pretty happy and were very helpful, but I probably wouldn’t go back, check out a different resort next time.

Liked being able to use the other sandals properties, service and the food. Jamaican air conditioning is not to the same standard as in the USA. The sandals fishing excursion was terrible. They only wanted to collect our money and didn’t care if we caught fish, had a good time or where safe. Stay away from the fishing trip.

10/10, cannot recommend highly enough. Beautiful property. Exceptional service. Worth every penny. Small, intimate resort. Cozy, but not claustrophobic. Quiet and relaxing. More mature crowd. Limited night life, but that's not what I was there for. Beautiful private beach with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas to go around. Lovely main restaurant on the verandah, plus a french bistro, pub, and seaside grill. Food was great everywhere. 10 minute bus transfer to Sandals Ochi with plenty of entertainment and dining options if you get bored. Rooms are slightly dated, but in generally good condition, with stunning oceanfront views. Very comfortable. Butler service is above and beyond exceptional. My husband and I aren't terribly comfortable with being "waited on", but these guys didn't let us lift a finger and we never had to ask for anything - they anticipated needs and wants we would never have even dreamed of and made it so all we had to do was say "yes" to their gracious and friendly service. We felt extremely pampered. Special shoutout to butlers Duwainey and Richard, along with Garnet, behind the bar at the Wobbly Peacock pub - the 3 of you made our vaction extra special and memorable. And all the awesome servers: Giovanni, Stephnie, Trisell, Tianna, Romaine - just to name a few. Mahesh at the loyalty desk, and Omar, the GM, were also awesome. Thank you all for your warm and attentive service. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of all week.

Only one thing good about the property were the staff and people who were working except for 1 of the 2 butlers that were assigned to us . The worst part is this is all inclusive and they say they have 5 Rest and some 15 rest next door at Sandal Ochi. More like Plantation only has 2 real rest in first place. There is absolutely no veg food in all the rest combined except for one Plant based dish. the food was horrible and even after checking in before we went i have let them know about my wife being vegetarian and it her being 40th birthday celebration. They didnt do anything to accommodate her Veg needs let alone doing special for the occasion. Let me put it that way that they did not know how to make grilled cheese. They gave us 2 piece of toast with a slice of cheese . Our butler who was present with us for 4 of 5 days was very arrogant and didnt fulfill any of our request nor would make reservations for us for any of the rest while we were there. 3 our of the 5 nights we had to eat out in the town it was such bad situation. Getting food at Sandals was itself a problem The rooms and other area as you would see are really dated and old. The toilet flush are not strong and work properly, the sink was clogging up and the towel hanger near the sink were coming of the wall. The room TV entertainment was horrible and not working at all. Box TV like quality. They keep saying they are renovating and working on making it better but i did not see any renovations.

5 dias de paz, relajamiento e intimidad

Mi esposa y yo tuvimos 5 dias de paz, relajamiento e intimidad en Royal Plantation. Lo escogimos basados en una matriz que creamos con base en lo que buscabamos de Jamaica: Refinamiento, Confort, Paisaje, Tranquilidad, Privacidad, Buena Cocina, Descanso, Amplitud, All inclussive, Playa y Mar. Todo lo anterior lo encontramos en RP. Visitando el Sandals Riviera justo al lado encontramos algo similar pero con menor nievel de tranquilidad, privacidad, paisaje y playa. El hotel tiene un estilo algo europeo y sus habitaciones tienen todas vista al mar. Es absolutamente romantico y al tener pocas habitaciones hacen que siempre haya espacio para todo. La atencion es de alto nivel y personalizada. Como siempre hay detalles que han pueden mejorar pero estan bastante cerca de la perfeccion en el servicio. La comida es sin duda excelente mucho mas si se tiene en cuenta que es un hotel todo incluido. La opcion de la cena sorpresa preparada por el chef en el restaurante La Terraza nos dejó encantados. El nivel de atencion y servicio es inigualable. Entró a nuestra lista de lugares y hoteles que podriamos repetir pues vale cada dolar que pagas. Si bien no nos alojamos en otros lugares en Jamaica estoy casi seguro que el hotel esta entre los tres mejores de Jamaica y definitivamente es el mejor de los Sandals si lo que buscas es lo que señalabamos antes, claro está (visitamos dos hoteles mas).
