"This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!"

The only misunderstanding was that we would receive a text if we could get in before 4:00 and I never got that text. I got an email instead and never noticed that until after 4:00. "My wife and I have been traveling to the region for many years and we particularly love the Ocean Point area. The location of this property is excellent - the views are great and a walk from the house to Grime's Cove couldn't be more beautiful. The house was very clean and had every possible amenity I could think of, plus a lovely welcome gift left for us by the owner - thank you! "

"As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. "

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within."

Just a heads up for those wanting to explore boothbay harbor, parking can be challenging to find so I would recommend if you own E-bikes bringing them for easier transportation around the area. "

"We very much enjoyed this well-located and appointed cottage and appreciated the responsiveness of the owner to a request for grilling materials and the Guest Contact for her responsiveness. Two minor concerns: a stove with oven would have expanded our food prep options, and finding the address on GPS was impossible - only after calling her did Contact email a special map to show us how to get to the cottage.
