A beautiful place to stay

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this place. It was even nicer than the photos and so well supplied. The people that run the place thought of everything you could ever possibly need. I had bought some things to cook and realised that I didn’t have any oil and there it was. This happened time and time again, where you would be looking for something and there it is and in ample supply. The hosts really ensure you have everything. It was also really clean too which was very important to us. I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Mission Beach.

Lovely relaxing stay in contemporary style house.

We loved that we could have our dog inside. We loved the pavilion style layout of the house. Even though we didn’t cook as our stay was short, everything you would need was supplied. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. All in all our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Kate

Dog Friendly Beach House

Loved staying at Melissa's beach house! Loads of room with an amazing kitchen! Comfortable beds and so close to the beach. Fantastic space for your dogs too. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent stay

Could not ask for better . Lovely hosts and superbly appointed property. Just the best layout for family or friends with split accommodation options. Short walk to the beach. Best pet friendly we have stayed in and let me tell u we have stayed in lots over the years.

nice spot but wished we had never booked it. Dirty floors, cooktop, fridge etc and rude owner.

O.k, but had trouble with one key and the owner was most unhelpful, claiming that there were 4 keys, clearly 3 and one broken, even blaming us. General cleaning O.K but missing some floors including outdoors, fridge, barbie (also broken) & cooktop.

Amazing house.

Wow, what a beautiful house. We felt so lucky and privileged to be able to stay there with our dog. It was spacious, modern, well equipped and a short walk to the beach. Just fabulous.

Relax at Wongaling

We had a great experience from start to finish. Melissa assisted us with a change in our booking dates and also provided assistance during our stay. The property is less than two years old, backs onto the forest and is one street back from the beach. It has been well fitted out with all the luxuries of home and had a couple of brand new bikes that were much appreciated (cycling around the Mission Beach area is very safe and often on designated cycle paths) Can highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

What an amazing place to stay, loved the polished concrete floors, really clean and tidy. I wish my house was set up as well as this place is! 2 blocks from an amazing beach. It was so nice that we could bring our dog with us, too!

Lovely house in a beautiful, unspoilt part of tropical North Queensland

Perfect location literally 150m from stunning Wongaling Beach. The house was clean modern and well appointed with quality finishes. We truly appreciate being able to bring our dogs who had a lovely time pottering around the securely fenced garden and enjoying beach walks. The real bonus was the view of rainforest from the deck. It was the perfect spot for some morning yoga really adding to a relaxing stay!

Stunning beach house!

Such a tranquil place to stay, unwind, enjoy the serenity of the rainforest in the backyard and then of course the pristine beach just a short walk away. Beautiful house, awesome pics design, stunning features, great little extra comforts - our dog loves it too!! Will be back for a third stay for sure!

Fourth Time is a Charm

I think this is stay number 4 and again we loved the house and Mission Beach. Being able to take our dogs has huge appeal. The house is beautiful and tropical and literally a 1 minute walk to the beach. Presentation is always excellent. Melissa is a great host and makes the process so easy.

Stunning property with a major wow factor!

Melissa has provided a stunning tropical beach getaway for small and large family groups - and of course our beloved pooch! LOVE the pod-style set up of the property and all the extra little details to make a beachside break even more chill - wifi, smart tv, board games!

Amazing!

Amazing house and exceptional host! We enjoyed or holiday in this house. It has everything you need and is super super clean. Melissa gave great tips where to go and also recommended great restaurants. Only 5 mins walk to the beach and a very quiet location. Sit on the deck and watch the birds in the backyard. A relaxing home away from home.

We felt extremely at home at the property as we were able to bring our dog. It was a safe place for him and so clean you would never know another animal had been there. The property was extremely clean and well appointed with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. A very short stroll to the beach and some beautiful walks around the area.

A home away from home...

We loved this stylish, modern and clean holiday home! It was well designed and perfect for the kids and our fur baby. There were lots of games to entertain the kids and the location was great. Melissa gave wonderful advice with her local knowledge of places to eat and things to do. We can't wait to go back!
