While you can't beat the location, the pictures of the living room did not match the set up of what was really there, the washer and dryer need to be replaced as the dryer was not working. I will say the owner did order a new washer and dryer while we were there, but Home Depot did screw up on not having the correct cord. Overall was a good experience

Independence Day Baseball tournament

The building as a whole needs a lot of work, it was dirty, smelled bad, lacks sufficient parking, and needs upgrades all over. My unit, half the light switches didn’t work, furniture was old and ratty, it was nothing compared to what was show in pictures. The only positive was the issue I had with AC not working was resolved quickly by unit owner.

We had issues with switches for lights. The exhaust fans in bathrooms didn’t work. The dryer gave us issues. It stopped drying. It started back before we left. I started looking and it appears the lint was blowing between wall

Mothership Weekend

Perfect accommodations for attending a weekend music festival. Loved the large balcony with ocean view - comfortably accommodated 4 people for morning coffee. We found the kitchen setup adequate but did not cook any meals. Rooms were good size and we all felt we had enough room to be comfortable. The property is well-priced for the overall location and accommodations. We would visit again.

Disappointing

The place is so old and dirty. Furniture falling apart no handles on dressers all the old yellow dimmed lights 1 or so bulbs even worked. Very very not worth the money this is a 79.00 a night stay kind of place.

Terrible room

The resort is nice but the room we had this time needs lots of work the master shower has mold all in the grout and the dryer vent isn’t hooked up leaving a laundry room full of lint bathrooms don’t have enough light to see urself in the mirror the bed is like sleeping on a rock the exhaust fans only work after you push the light stwitch up and down several times the balcony had rotted banana and fruit left on it the second bedroom had dead bugs in floor then the hot water was barely enough to wash ur body off the front door only locked if the door wasn’t shut all the way leaving a 2 inch gap the furniture was old and broke down so rent a different room !!!!!!

Amazing Vacation!

Great property. Enjoyed the stay and communication was fast with the owner as we only had 1 minor hiccup but owner pulled thru within seconds to correct the minor issue. Will definitely recommend and book same property in future!

Fall Break

Stay was excellent. Perfect weather and beautiful water. The condo was clean as far as floors, beds and surface but people forget to clean under the beds and I noticed a few bugs in the kitchen and spare bathroom. The condo is nothing fancy but nice and served our purpose. Kitchen accessories are very limited not even a pot holder or baking sheet. The beach chairs and umbrella was a huge plus for $50 for the week. Ceiling needed some repairs in places but understandable when you a trying to get someone to do repairs these days. Limited hot water in the showers. Overall the unit was good and the resort is very convenient to the beach.

Home Away from Home

Just to start we have been staying at Surfside for over 15 years in different condos, and I will have to say we have not had one bad one. This location was on second floor so easy to get to pool or beach. Will look for opening in the future.

The condo was okay. The stove doesn't work properl

Process of renting was easy, no issues. The condo wasn't very clean behind the master bed it was very dirty, with broken glass on the floor. There wasn't a vaccum or broom to clean things up. We did buy a broom and left it there for next person. There was a filthy pillow case on one of the pillows in master bedroom. Location was great.

If you are new to VRBO then things you need to know if you’re traveling with a family larger than 4…. *These places don’t have kid friendly dishes, large non stick pans are usually not provided (pack one)- **toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, ( I know they say to being certain things in the listing but for real bring them haha) ***blankets if your kids are those kids that like blankets when lounging.

I do not like that this property didn't offer any condiments or extra toilet paper, paper towels, dish towels, etc. Plus, we weren't allowed to leave what we bought. Other properties let peoe leave their coffee, condiments, cooking spray, salt and pepper, etc.

Property wasn’t the cleanest, had a mild musty/mildew smell. Water/rusty spots on the ceiling. The whole condo building itself was somewhat outdated. A few of the lights were burned out. We would still stay again as it was a Great location for the price, have never stayed in Destin or Miramar Beach for cheaper.

We enjoyed our stay the condo was nice and clean and the distance to the beach was nice being able to just walk out there. But the dryer did not dry our clothes and the shower had cold water coming out of it no hot water every now and then we were able to get it to be lukewarm if we let it run for at least 30 minutes or more before getting in. So the condo is nice but our stay was not as satisfactory as we would have liked
