The property was in good shape but not clean. The main shower had black mold and the other shower had a moldy curtain. The floors were dirty. All our feet were black on the bottom on the first night. Unfortunately, there were some folks who didn't adhere to the quiet after 10pm rule as well.

Many Positives with a Few Negatives

For not being on the ocean the view was great. Convenient location. The condo was clean and spacious for 4 adults. Great balcony that connects to both the main bedroom and the family room. Some minor repairs are needed along with upgrading a few things (sent a list to the property manager) to improve this condo from good to great.

Beautifully decorated with a gorgeous view

We enjoyed our stay. Loved the beach decor throughout the condo. Spacious and comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with the basics for cooking. Beautiful view. Would definitely recommend.

First stay in Destin/Miramar

Unit 2009 was unsanitary and not well cleaned!!! When we arrived the all of floors felt damp and sandy. The master bedroom smelled damp or moldy I couldn’t really figure the odor out. All of the beds looked clean cut but after sleeping in them the first night we realized that there was sand on the sheets. Also there was mildew/mold in the walk-in showers in the master bath. There was also some drilling or some sort of repair being done either in the room above us or next door that would start around 8 am every day so if we wanted to sleep in it was impossible! I placed a call and emailed rental management regarding the mold in the shower the second day and only received reply’s requesting where the problem was and photos and the issue was not addressed until the third day of our 5 day stay. I called on the third day and was told they were waiting on photos, but why was photos and location needed when the email and voicemail stated the exact issues me location!! It was just there way of delaying the solution so there was no need to request any other services because by the time they would send someone to address the issue our stay would have been over. I also forgot to mention the air conditioner would not go below 74 degrees. There was a sign posted above the thermostat that stated to leave the temperature a no lower than 70 but we never got the temperature to 70. While on the elevator we met several guest that stated there rooms were hot and the air didn’t properly. Although this property left a bad impression for our first visit to Destin we enjoyed the area and the beach. I definitely would not recommend this property to anyone! And if you are reading this review stay clear especially from unit 2009!

Good location - very dirty condo

The bed sheets hadn’t been cleaned or changed. There was sand in both beds and blood in one of them. The sink had food left in it. And the trash hadn’t been taking out. Also, 2 of the 4 elevators did not work. Great location and great view.

It was OK

Overall it was OK. I wish they would provide coffee starters, and other condiments so you don’t have run to the store and buy those things right away. Also wish it was cleaner. It looked clean “on surface” but small random rugs scattered throughout the apartment were dirty as hell. Would recommend getting rid of them completely. Also floors need some “deep” cleaning. Even those there are tiles everywhere they need to steam clean and sanitize. As other reviewers reported your socks will be very dirty. We didn’t walk around barefoot at all. Just didn’t have that clean feel. And the coffee, tea, sugar, cream, salt and pepper - it’s a convenience request but I’m sure most would appreciate it.

Wonderful weekend

Great condo for our family. Clean and kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The Kids pool was perfect for grandkids. Beautiful beach, 10 minute walk with grandkids. Amazing views from balcony. Downside 20th floor and using elevator with COVID

The property was nice. Clean but I wish this property had a hot tub or the outdoor pools were heated. Seemed like the beds we slept in were a little itchy hoping they are not bed bugs. This was all beds in the unit.

Hurricane and no refund

The condo was great. They RealJoy group was the worst rental group I’ve ever dealt with. We couldn’t cancel because of the hurricane or move the dates and the place had lost power because of the hurricane and all the amenities were not accessible. The pools were closed till the last day, I reached out to them and the response was lack luster at best. The was no cable the whole time and all the restaurants in the area were closed. So we really only got to enjoy one day. I would recommend everyone stay away from “real joy “and that the owner of this unit look for another leasing company.
