This was a nice condo. The only downfalls.. they need to put locks on the bathroom doors, the bunk bed mattresses were not comfortable, and the bathrooms were dirty when we arrived. Overall the location was great. Being next to the pool I was worried about the outside noise but honestly we couldn’t hear anything! The beach is a short walk away and the check in process was the easiest we’ve ever had. Would definitely stay here again!

Would not stay here again!

My husband made the comment that this is the worst condo we’ve ever stayed in and he is correct. First of all we get a call a couple hours before check in that the refrigerator freezes up and stops cooling and we will have to switch the breaker off for a few hours each day but that you’ve also brought in a mini fridge we could use instead. We decided to just use the mini fridge instead of finding and turning the breaker off each night at bedtime and having to wake up at 4:00-5:00 to turn it back on. (As was suggested by Pam @ my vacation haven) however the mini fridge caused all of the fresh fruit we had just purchased to freeze as hard as a rock so we wasted all that money on it because when we thawed it out to try and salvage it, it all turned to mush and was not edible. Also not a single lock in the condo works. Not on the bedrooms or bathrooms. So forget any peaceful privacy without having to worry about being walked in on while trying to use the toilet or shower. Also the deadbolt on the front door doesn’t turn with the door shut (it will if the door is open but not closed) so my son was scared to sleep in the bunk bed by himself because it’s directly next to the door, and instead my husband had to switch with him so my husband and I haven’t been able to sleep in the same bed the entire vacation. I sat down in one of the chairs on the patio and had I been wearing shorts my leg would’ve been cut wide open instead of the new sun dress I was wearing... sending email.

Great place to stay

Check-in was easy to do with the app you can download. The rental was clean and was equipped with items available to use when needed. Communication was great with the rental company. This rental was on the first floor, in front of the pool. Outside noise was never loud where we couldn't enjoy our time inside. The resort pool closes at 10pm which was a bummer for us when our kids wanted to finally swim after being out sightseeing all day. The resort BBQ grills are on one side of the building and the area is not shaded. There is a walkthrough gate in the pool area to the grill, but it is locked and was not accessible anytime of the day. The beach is just a short walk away. This is a great place and I would rent again.

Bottom line the property served it’s purpose but wasn’t special. Little mold in bathroom, back deck area was overdue for a cleaning, fridge needs servicing, etc.. list goes on. Recommend a different property if possible.

Emerald Waters and White Sand

We had a very enjoyable stay. First off the positives.. Miramar Beach is gorgeous. The water is the clearest I've seen, and the sand is powdery white. The condo is only a short 5-7 min walk depending on how slow you walk (7 for me). Ariel Dunes II has 3 pools which are easily accessible and none of them were packed when we tried to swim in them. Condo was clean and as advertised in photos. The rental management was always quick to respond when I had any issues. The only real negative I have is the fact that NONE of the interior doors had locks. Not the bedrooms or the bathrooms. When you have a family of 8 staying in a confined space, the option for some privacy is greatly needed. Other than that, we loved our visit and look forward to our next.

Family friendly and easy access to everything

We loved the quick walk to the beach and poolside view. It was great to be in the first floor with a separate front door because of Covid. We wanted to avoid elevators and crowds. The condo was nice and well maintained. Also has beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys which was great. I highly recommend it for families. The only thing I would say is that when we arrive it had a little smell to it. Like it was not lived in. After cooking and being there for a few days we didn’t even smell it anymore. We would love to stay there again. Also, though the beach is walking distance, we have smaller kids and we drove there sometimes and found parking on the street. The rental management company folks were really nice too.

Great but.....

I returned to this property because I’d stayed here last year and it’s clean, safe, and in a great location. That being said on the 3rd day our ceiling fan almost caught fire and was smoking. The lady I called was super nice but unhelpful. A guy came the next day and checked it out only to tell us it needed replaced and he couldn’t do anything, so we were without the fan for 2 days with nothing ever being fixed. Oh yeah why can we not lock any of the rooms???! No privacy at all

Great property! Pros & Cons listed.

We had a great fall break trip. The property was exactly as listed and we will consider coming back again in the near future. Pros: - Great location and very easy walk to the beach. After our first visit to the beach, we realized we could take a short drive with easy access parking adjacent to the beach as well...which is nice for those with little kids. - Very clean condo and had all of the amenities a family of 5 needed. - We really enjoyed the first floor, easy access. - Property manager called a couple times to check in on us and make sure everything was good. For those that have had any issues with a condo in the past, you know how great it is to have the ability to communicate with the folks taking care of the place. - Having the smaller room converted into bunk beds was perfect for us. Cons: - We saw a previous review that mentioned the beds weren't comfortable and they were right. We didn't sleep well so would consider bringing a pillow top if we booked the same place again. - Only down side of being on the first floor and windows facing the pool is we had to shut the curtains a couple times when we felt people were looking in a little too much. Overall, had a fantastic vacation staying here and will consider coming back again to the same condo. Thank you!

Great getaway condo

The place was really nice, and being on the first floor was extremely helpful especially with young children. I recommend this place to anyone! A few things need attention such as the curtain rod in the bunk bed room, and the screen door going to the patio. Otherwise this is a great place!

Great Location, Great Vacation

Would definitely stay in this unit again. So convenient to pools, beach, workout room. Easy access out the back entrance to 98 to avoid the crazy traffic on Scenic Gulf Drive. Loved our time here.

Nice condo walking distance to beautiful beach!

Beautiful condo near the beach....just a short walk there. Very close to grocery store. I did appreciate being on the first floor...it was a 2 second walk to the pool...great for kids. The complex is clean and very quiet. The pool was never crowded. Only negative thing was that the master bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable. Great condo for family with kids!
