We had a lovely time! Property was super convenient and easy to get to the beach. Was nice that beach chairs were included! The properties managers were SO nice and went over the top to make our stay pleasant. We left a necklace that was very important to my mother and the property manager found it and mailed it back at no cost!

Great location!

A great place to stay in Miramar Brach, FL. We were very pleased with the unit as it was clean and as described in the listing. All the activities you could ever want are within a short drive, and there is no shortage of things to do in the area. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Quiet beach time

The condo complex is a great community with lots of amenities. It was dog-friendly too. The private beach access was simply icing on the cake! The area was fun and a little quieter than Destin proper, but the activities in Destin were a short drive away. We would absolutely go back to this condo!

Great spot to take the family

Property was great and just as described. The located had everything we could want or need and it was surprisingly quiet being such a big complex. The rental agent staff was great and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Very Clean and comfortable!!

Nice location! In a less busy area but still close to everything. Clean updated condo with an awesome balcony. Just wish we had beautiful Gulf views. Can’t have it all. Overall I would definitely stay here again and we were thankful they were pet friendly.

Not for older people

The condo is very nice,well decorated and convention to the beach and some nice restaurants. It’s on the second floor a very long distance from the elevator . I would not recommend it for older adults. It’s also on the further end of the building from the beach. The view is not what we expected.

Clean, comfortable condo

My Mom and I took a short getaway from Tennessee to the beach with her dog, Sadie. The property management was super communicative and very helpful when we had questions. Upon arriving to the property, we were pleasantly surprised that instead of the typical uncomfortable rental furniture, we found real, substantial furniture! The beds were especially comfortable, which is unusual for my Mom and I to find as we both have considerable orthopedic issues. VERY clean! Short walk to the beach! 10/10 would stay at this property again.

Really unhappy with our stay. Disappointed with management of this property.

The condo was decorated nicely, was fairly clean except for a few things we noted were missed by housekeeping (some dried dog poop in a long shaggy rug) but we just cleaned them up ourselves. The complex was extremely pet friendly, there were dogs everywhere. It seemed everyone had at least one pet with them. Where the extreme disappointment came in was with the comfortability of the Queen bed in the first bedroom. It was beyond uncomfortable, the box spring squeaked loudly with every small movement and the mattress was so soft and dipped in the middle. It was horrible. The very first night it became apparent and we called management to let them know. They sent someone out who seemed very annoyed to be looking at it and then ultimately told us there was nothing wrong with it, it was just our preference. I understand preferences, but this was beyond that. This boxspring alone needed to be replaced. Doing a deeper dive on the reviews I see that they received several written reviews complaining about the King bed in the other bedroom about it being uncomfortable and squeaking until they ultimately replaced it in March. I guess we were one of the unlucky ones that had to suffer until management decided it was bad enough to replace. For the price of the condo (we payed well over what we typically pay for similar condos in Destin) we didn't expect to not get any sleep. We were rotating beds every night, tried to buy a mattress topper to help it, rotated sleeping on the couch. I even wrote in an e-mail to management to let them know how disappointed we were with the response to our request - offering no solutions at all. We were going out on our own during vacation to buy mattress toppers to test. Their response to us was to give us percentages of how many people have slept in the bed and haven't complained and that it must just be us. Or we were stiff from driving. I found the way they spoke to me on the phone unprofessional. If you dig through the reviews and read some of the responses they post in response to other guests, you will see some unprofessional responses as well. I wish I would have seen those prior to reserving this space. At the end of our call they said they would let us out of our rental and return our money MINUS the $500+ VRBO fee they have to pay, but that was unrealistic as they had no other rentals for us, and no other rentals were available on short notice when we searched. We will never rent from Sugar Palm again.
