We did not stay in the pictured condo as the owner chose to visit during our scheduled trip. The staff at SandDestin worked with me to find us a condo close to our family and that accommodated my husband’s recent surgery. Thank you for being so helpful! We had a great time and made memories that will last a lifetime!

Great location in the village

Unit was nice overall. Clean and comfortable furnishings. Bedding could absolutely use an upgrade. Basically had a thin sheet for the comforter. Overall, property building is starting to get dated.

Fun Time, but Confusing Check-in

The property itself was absolutely wonderful. The condo was very clean and the amenities and grounds were well taken care of. However, the check-in process was extremely confusing. We had no idea that we needed to check in at the on-site office or even where it was located. It would've been helpful to have more specific details in the reservation confirmation, as the long hold time to actually reach someone was frustrating and we just kept driving around until we figured it out. Again, the condo was beautiful and the stay overall was great once we got checked in.

Exactly what we needed!

I picked the perfect location. Loved the fact that we we so close to all the amenities. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurants were great. Overall a great experience. Make sure to bring paper towels and soap to wash dishes.

A pleasant stay.

Loved everything, …but seeing liter at different places around the property was kinda disappointing. Most of it in the wild spaces and in the water close to the bridges. Oh, and there was no store to buy every day items. I needed some salt ! 😕

Not Ocean front, but a GREAT location

This was our first time visiting Sandestine. Our stay in Baytown Village was wonderful! The VRBO accommodations were great! The unit was clean and we enjoyed the large screen TV's in the living room & bed room. We drove to the beach which was about 2 miles away from the resort everyday; which was not a problem. Parking was easy. If we didn't have so much to carry, we would have caught the shuttle which is free of charge. We will return again next year.

Enjoyed our Stay

Our daughter owns a condo in the same building so this was perfect for my husband and I to stay near them. The unit was very nice and just as it was listed. The location is perfect. The toilet had issues and the first night and we had to call maintenance. It worked for 1/2 of a day, but started acting up again. We just struggled through it since we were only there for a couple of days. The only recommendation for improvement is the check in process. Having to physically check is a hassle. We would stay again and would recommend this condo.

Disappointing

Although this property was clean, the bed was very noisy and uncomfortable. The place didn’ t come with paper towels, body wash, etc. the most disappoint part, which has nothing to do with the room is the restaurants. Hammerhead’s Oyster Bar ran out of oysters! Other restaurants had hour waits with more than half the restaurant empty, customer service was obsolete. Needless to say it was a disappointing vacation.

Weekend getaway

The condo was nice, but it does have more of a hotel feel. The TVs are smart, but there is not a remote to access/log into a Netflix account, etc. Also, the balcony is in need of a good clean. The balcony furniture is nasty with mold. We didn’t even utilize the balcony because of this. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Enjoyed staying in the unit 457 . When we checked in floor of the unit was full of sand . Next day requested extra towels & garbage bags Several time & told on the way but never recieved them . Sofa bed was uncomfortable .
