Great location

Condo was nice. 3rd floor walk up with luggage and fl heat would have been nice to have some beach equipment there for use and maybe some amenities like coffee filters and extra toilet paper and paper towels but great location and nice A/C. Had a great time!

Lovely vacation at the Emerald Coast

We had a great stay at the Gulf View apartments. The apparent was clean, spacious as for a family of four with all appliances you may need during your stay. It was better than pictures! Thank you and we hope to return soon!

32 stairs , nice beach !

Upon arriving when pulling into the property , we see the big blue building facing the ocean that’s in the pictures on the property details . Then soon find out that’s not the unit we reserved . This unit is in the very back of the property with a beach view. After climbing 32 stairs to our rental unit , there is no elevator . (never mentioned) The unit was clean , but needed some maintenance , shower curtain rod was barely hanging and has been scraping the wall for a while , the kitchen sink was floating on the plumbing where it had come unattached from the granite ! Did housekeeping / maintenance think this is okay just rent it ? I was able to finally get ahold of someone to get the sink looked at. Within 30 minutes handyman was there but had no idea how to fix it and filled the 1 inch gap with caulk. We had to stay here for a week cooking and cleaning , I ended up having to use some pots to jack up the sink to make it useable . The flooring is coming up in places and will cut you . The pool and hot tub both were overcrowded and had adults throwing footballs where small children were present . Lastly. If you plan on washing clothes be prepared to pay for these amenities also ! Wouldn’t let me post unless I give five stars !

Great couple of days!

The condo was wonderful for a few days! If we had stayed longer, we’d have gotten somewhere with an in-unit washer and dryer. However, this was a great spot for a few days and the condo was as described and expected!

Not the Best but Not the Worst

We have enjoyed staying at Gulfview Condos for 4 years. This year’s condo was good but was not all that clean and functional. From the first day we found long black hairs everywhere (shower, couch, and bed frame shelves), had black feet from the floor (wore house shoes all week), the blinds were the type that would not actually stop light from coming in much less people seeing in, and the barstool tops were broken/ loose so that one spin made them come off. The next morning we were up with the sun whether we liked it or not( we did not but you can’t stay asleep when the sun is coming through the non-existent blinds). Then three days into our stay, the air condition cut out on us in 90 degree heat. When I called the service number I was patched to a representative who took down our information and then said someone would be sent out right away. Luckily the air came back on in about two hours and cooled the condo back down (we left the condo while it was still cooling and came back to a cooler condo). At about 11 pm that night, we got a knock on the door, opened it up to find the service tech there to service our air condition. Needles to say the kids were able to stay asleep through all of the commotion. But he was nice and quickly cleaned out the drain. So overall we made the best of our stay with the convenient access to the beach, the great pools and proximity to good food. Just hope the owners of this specific condo will take a little more pride in providing a better, clean, and functional condo.

Nicely remodeled, close to the beach

We found this corner condo to be nicely remodeled and beachy modern. Super close to the beach, which was cool. We were happy with it except for the queen-sized bed in the master. It was a very uncomfortable mattress with springs poking us when we laid on it. We opted to sleep in the hallway bunk beds. Disappointing sleep experience.
