Great place - will be back!

The property was great- the condo was clean and spacious. Slept all 6 of us very comfortably. Loved the pool/bar/beach. Feedback - for the price, beach service should be included. Beach service was expensive and the property allows people to set up their own umbrellas and chairs in front of those that paid for it, which was frustrating. Other than that, no complaints.

Very satisfied

Condo was the perfect size for our family of 5. The ocean view and beach was beautiful. We also enjoyed our time at the pool . We appreciated the kitchen and bathroom supplies, soaps, etc. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept soundly. The only complaint would be the area rug in the living room needs a good cleaning or needs to be replaced and there were a few stains on the light fabric furniture in the living room. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the Destin area. Would love to visit again in the future.

Relaxing place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing, the beach service was solid and the location it convenient to a lot of restaurants and shops. The unit is in great shape, clean and comfy beds. We had a small issue with the refrigerator but they came and fixed it asap. The food and drink service by the pool was really good as well.

Moldy dirty unit.

We left almost immediately as we were mislead. Unit had visible water stains on ceiling. Mold on returns and supplies of hvac. I had specifically been told unit had no mold. My toddler grandson or myself would have been very sick staying in this unit. Beware renting this unit.

Excellent view off the 6th floor

Enjoyed our stay, the view was great. Plenty of beach chairs. We were unsure and brought our own. Property was lovely. Would stay again. I did message a few times with no response. So I'm not sure what I didn't wrong.

Almost Perfect

Great location, view and overall stay! Only 4 stars because a few housekeeping things are needed. There was no broom and dustpan. Kitchen utensil upgrade is greatly needed. Knives extremely dull. A light on the balcony would be great for late nights. Would definitely come back.

Best View on 6th floor!

This unit is exactly like the pictures and the view is spectacular. The larger balcony has plenty of seating with a table and the pool area is right below. So we had a great view of both pool and beach! The unit was clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. All bathrooms were stocked with more than enough towels and wash cloths which never happens for us! We arrived two days before Tropical Storm Fred hit. Thankfully, the storm was more to the east of us and only experienced some rain and wind gusts. We decided to stay in and cook dinner that evening and lost power in the middle of cooking for about 30-45 minutes. We managed! My wife brought a candle just in case and we had a nice candle lit dinner with the entire family. The first load of laundry we did were of course our beach towels. I quickly noticed the dryer wasn’t heating so we called the property manager. They were quick to get someone out and it was repaired by the next afternoon. I have no complaints about this unit. I do have a couple of suggestions though… Larger coffee mugs for us coffee drinkers! and a couple more pots and pans (with lids). Freezer shelving (glass) was not very sturdy and we were very careful every time we opened it. Also the ice maker wasn’t working. We did get ice from the machine on the 3rd floor but there was a big sign that said it wasn’t for consumption. We did use it for our cooler! Those few suggestions would make this unit perfect. I’m sure they will be attended to before we rent again next year! We have stayed at Westwinds before and this is by far our favorite resort at San Destin. Definitely recommend this unit!

Overall a nice condo. Spacious bedrooms. Disappointed in kitchen .. not enough dishes.. silverware.. only 1 cook pot…. We cook in a lot and got tired of rewashing forks and spoons .. plates etc Good location .. great view.. great pool!

Just as described!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The view form the corner unit was amazing. The photos gave a very accurate description of the unit. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The 3 bedrooms we perfect for my family of 4 and our friends of 5 (5 kids total). The walk to the beach was super easy (just a few steps from the pool). We actually forgot about the shuttle service--we wouldn't have needed it for the beach but it would have been fun to use it for the golf courses and the shops across the street/the marina. I grew up vacationing in Destin, and this trip brought back so many fun memories! I would definitely recommend staying at My Vacation Haven!

Beautiful view and condo

The condo was exactly as listed. The view was incredible and the condo was very clean and decorated very nicely. Comfy beds and nice bathrooms. A little trouble getting into the complex and building but made a call and got it taken care of. Beach towels would of been nice. Also maybe a listing of where you can get coffee and suggestions for restaurants that have breakfast nearby. Pool and beach were great!! Thanks for a great stay!

Family Trip 2021

The condo was in excellent condition. With 3 bedrooms and a bunk with full size beds it made it easy for everyone to sleep comfortably during our weeklong stay. Access to pool and beach were close and enjoyable for my elderly mother. We would definitely look at staying there again.

Perfect quick get-a-way with another family

The condo was very nice and was perfect for our two families for 4 days. The balcony and view was fabulous. The resort has very nice pool and quick access to the beach. Enjoyed using the Tram to get to Baytowne Warf. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place.
