Great place - will be back!

The property was great- the condo was clean and spacious. Slept all 6 of us very comfortably. Loved the pool/bar/beach. Feedback - for the price, beach service should be included. Beach service was expensive and the property allows people to set up their own umbrellas and chairs in front of those that paid for it, which was frustrating. Other than that, no complaints.

Perfect Vacation Spot

We love our stay at Westwinds each year. This property was the perfect size for the 8 of us and all of our belongings. Very spacious. Very clean. Perfect location.

Relaxing place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing, the beach service was solid and the location it convenient to a lot of restaurants and shops. The unit is in great shape, clean and comfy beds. We had a small issue with the refrigerator but they came and fixed it asap. The food and drink service by the pool was really good as well.

Very satisfied

Condo was the perfect size for our family of 5. The ocean view and beach was beautiful. We also enjoyed our time at the pool . We appreciated the kitchen and bathroom supplies, soaps, etc. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept soundly. The only complaint would be the area rug in the living room needs a good cleaning or needs to be replaced and there were a few stains on the light fabric furniture in the living room. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the Destin area. Would love to visit again in the future.

LARGE CONDO WITH AMAZING BALCONY VIEWS

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time vacationing in Sandestin and we loved the Westwinds building. It is a resort like building with a great pool area and private beach. The hot tub was not heating correctly, which was a disappointment since we had one cool day, but not that big of a deal. The actual condo was nice and clean with large bedrooms. The balcony was HUGE and had great views. We saw so many dolphins while sitting on the balcony. The only negative for the condo was the living room rug was dirty and stained and needs to be replaced. The living room furniture had some wear and a stain, but overall in good condition. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals in. The management company was great. We had one minor issue with our door code, and they resolved it immediately. Overall, a great trip!

What could be improved upon is the soiled furniture and dingy looking area rug. We’ve been going to Westwinds for many years, glad to see they updates the pool furniture and now have umbrellas, though feel they could place more umbrellas around pool deck.

First time in Destin - We will be back!

The view was spectacular. My suggestions for ease: Provide pool towels, as they are bulky to pack for 6 people and expensive to buy when down there. Every other beachside condo I've rented provided them. It would also be nice to stock everyday spices in the kitchen like salt and pepper. We left ours. Tupperware or storage containers also would be welcomed.

Moldy dirty unit.

We left almost immediately as we were mislead. Unit had visible water stains on ceiling. Mold on returns and supplies of hvac. I had specifically been told unit had no mold. My toddler grandson or myself would have been very sick staying in this unit. Beware renting this unit.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was great but the unit is in need of a deep clean and new furniture/rug. All furniture is stained, curtains have food on them, rug is stained from drinks, the walls/baseboards are filthy, mattress had yellow stains. The linens shown in the picture were no longer on any of the beds. The beach chairs they provided were all broken and rusted. The washing machine had mold in it in. The shower was leaking and had mold. Just disappointing because we have stayed at Westwinds for years and it is usually clean. The unit could be great with a good clean and new furniture. Westwinds itself is great. We will just pick a different unit next time.
