Great communication. Loved the place . Very clean . Very nice. Had everything we needed. Loved the beach chairs available. Easy pool an beach access. Loved the shower, even though im a bath person. Balcony views were great . Especially loved the heated pool and palm trees. Would definitely rent this unit again.

Lovely Week - Great Condo, Perfect Location, Clean

Great: location, pool, hot tub, amenities, beach, decor, and overall cleanliness!Picture comments: no dining level table on balcony; side second balcony (pic18) different furniture and actual view rather misrepresented (the kindest words have); dining room table changed (but nice). Overall, an excellent place to stay.Bring extension cord to power phone on nightstand. Plugs are unusable due to headboard/builtins.

A little get a way

Condo was excellent and we had a great stay. Very clean. Only thing missing was pot holders. We had to use washcloths to remove pans from the oven. Also an extra blanket for the bed. We got cold and there was no extra covering

Oceanfront condo for 2 - with ocean sounds

This was the cleanest and best maintained condo and condo property we have ever stayed at - with many years of beach vacations. It was well decorated, had gorgeous views with 2 balconies and was close enough to the ocean to hear the surf. The resort shuttle was convenient to go to the wharf. It is a great condo for couples. While it had a pullout couch in the living room, the only bathroom is though the master bedroom - so not ideal for additional guests unless small children. The master bedroom had limited drawer space - only available in the tv stand. A full low dresser with tv on top would have eliminated the need to use our suitcases during our 7 night stay. The night stands were only countertops with no storage space. Bedroom closet space was ample for a couple - but also had bedding for the couch, ironing board, etc. The condo supplied 4 beach chairs and an umbrella to bring to the beach. It was a convenient walk to the pool and beach, even with carrying supplies. However, we felt the actual beach space allotted after the resort chair rentals lined most of private beach was limiting. Rentals were around $50 per day, $250 per week. Signs lined the beach specifically designating areas for each building - and we witnessed the beach monitors asking guests to move each day if they weren’t on the right area. We got our space about 10 am each day in early May - but wouldn’t want to deal with the in season crowd. We had a great time the week we were there. We would have rated the condo a perfect 5 if not for the bedroom storage and beach chair rental issues.

Exceptional stay

Room was exactly as described/pictured, spotless and very comfortable. Westwinds complex will not disappoint you. Had minor problems with a water leak sensor shutting the water off —BUT the only reason I am stating this, is to point out how how fast this concern was addressed by My Vacation Haven property management team — literally one phone call, and within 5 minutes everything was was taken care of — great attention to detail! The only suggestion we could make, would be to make available to the guests a layout of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort complex, and a list of the amenities available with your stay. With a little effort, we were able to figure things out, but this would have been a time saver for us. Overall, extremely satisfied with our accommodations and visit —already looking forward to next year! Thank-you.

It was a lovely property with a great view. We did experience repair noise and construction near us. Once at night. We also ran toilet paper as two rolls wasn’t enough for a week. But overall it was nice.

Overall excellent experience. Love the “no touch” checkin and keyless access. Facility very neat and clean. Entrance security very polite. Umbrella crew led by Hunter very polite also. Only deficiency was no dust pan and no plunger (just sayin’). A chest of drawers for clothing would be nice. But overall 5 star! Will return.

Smell & running water issue

The property had an obnoxious strong order it was a strange smell so I cannot decipher the scent to describe it; but it really stunk the entire time so I know it was NOT a food smell. This condo is standalone unit on the end of hall next to the trash shot so maybe it was the trash that reeked. Called /text maintenance 7xs and there was nothing they could do about the smell. Also the water was off for 14 hours they said it's an automatic shut off it was explained as a safety feature ( go figure) but who cares about that feature when you need to shower after the beach or use running water as needed? Otherwise the condo looks like the pictures.

Great place

We greatly enjoyed the condo. The place was clean, pleasantly furnished, convenient and scenic. Our only disappointment was that it does not have a bathtub. We also thought that for the size and with only having one bathroom it was a bit expensive. Nevertheless, we recommend it.

Great Spring Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Westwinds over a long weekend and were more than pleased with our stay. Communication was efficient, and the check in process was super easy. We especially loved our views of the gulf, as well as walking/biking around the resort (there are miles of paved bike trails!). Will definitely be staying here again in the future.
