Love location, but not the beach service

This is a beautiful property. The unit has a lovely view of the ocean and pool. The unit is clean. The golf cart is key for the area-it's great to use to drive over to Baytowne Wharf for activities and dinner!!Main concern is the beach chair company. In Sandestin, the beaches are all private, so space is limited on the sand. The beach chair service takes up most of the beach area you are confined to, and the rental sets are only about 50% occupied. Just an extreme waste of the already limited beach space that one has. We are all paying to stay at this property and should not be subjected to this outside beach chair outfit who uses all the 85% of the beach for their profit, at your expense, and you are not even using one of the sets of chair/umbrellas.

Overall Wonderful and Beautiful

The property was very, very clean! The view was awesome of the ocean.Our condo was exceptionally clean. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 3 children and everyone had a blast. The only reason I did not give a 5 star for accuracy was because the golf cart was listed to be a 6 person cart and honestly it was comfortable for 4 adults. I don't consider ourselves big people at all but I would maybe suggest it reading for 4 people vs. 6. That being said we will definitely be back!

Quiet Getaway

Had a relaxing week enjoying the view and the beach. The golf cart is great for getting around the resort. We enjoyed heading to lunch on the golf cart as well as restaurants and shopping in the village. We will definitely return.

Great condo but kitchen supplies very sparse

Loved the location of this condo. But for a family of 4 that cooks a lot, one small cutting board isn’t going to do it for me. The pans were Teflon (which is toxic) and the kitchen cabinets almost empty with just the bare minimum. No oven mits and only one container to store food in… tiny coffee pot, it would be nice to have a full size coffee maker (that seems standard in my opinion for a place like this). Balcony floor (which is concrete) could use a good scrubbing with Clorox-which was dirty with previous guests spills and made me not want to sit out there. Beds were very comfy with nice ceiling fans. Best way to communicate with the property mgmt company is via text. I sent messages via email a few days before our arrival. Some messages were never replied to. Not sure I’d return to this one bc kitchen supplies were too sparse. Almost comical.

Best property to date!

I’ve stayed in Destin, Watercolor, seaside and Watersound and this location and condo is the best. On the beach, golf cart, nicely decorated, and pool and landscaping was very special. We loved everything about this condo. We will be coming back.

What a gorgeous condo! Our family had the best summer beach vacation.. our kids keep asking to go back! Loved the decor, golf cart, and the beach/pool items in the beach cage was such an added bonus! We will be back!

Very nice…

I’m what you would call very picky when it comes to staying at various places. This condo was definitely very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My husband and my 4 year old were with me and we enjoyed the ease of access to the pool and beach (with the exception of our beach code not working the first 2 days). Pros: very modern decor, nice appliances, comfy beds, and great location as an end unit. Cons: clean but there were quite a bit of hairs on the floors when we arrived, television remotes did not work.

What a great vacation! The room was clean and comfortable. The building was very clean as were elevators. We loved having the golf cart for breakfast and dinner. The management company was quick to respond. Would recommend for sure!

Great Place!

Loved the property! Great floor plan and decor! The only miss was no beach towels available to use. It would have been great to have some in the cage area with the beach chairs so guests do not have to pack their own.

Beautiful upscale condo and amenities!

This condo was absolutely beautiful and immaculate! Pictures were very accurate! The only issue we had (which was a pretty big one unfortunately) was our air conditioner didn’t work properly the first 3 days!!! It would only stay on about 30 min then cut off. We called the property manager the first day and they did send someone out that day but he did not fix it or get someone that could until the third evening! I feel like it had to do with it being a weekend but July in Destin is no time to not have a working air conditioner. Everything else was great! The golf cart is a big plus to this condo and has lots of power. Only other suggestions I have would be to have a couple more towels, dish towels and washcloths because the washer only holds 3 towels at a time. Also, if you need to use the sofa beds you will need to bring blankets, only sheets are provided. Otherwise it really is an awesome condo and location! Pool is also very nice!

Wonderful stay in this condo. Well appointed and clean. Beach front. Having the golf cart and locker down stairs stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, etc was a huge bonus. The resort is beautiful. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I did a quick 4 night getaway. Nice condo and very clean. I agree with other comments that the washer is way too small and that it Needs more nicer towels. We took the towels from the guest bath. West End is one of my favorite buildings. Haven does a great job also.

Great beach condo!!

We had such a great time at this condo! The unit was clean, and really beautifully decorated. It was a perfect size for two adults and 2 girls. We love staying at Westwinds for the great pool and close proximity to the beach. The best part of this condo was the golf cart - a game changer for sure!! It added another level of convenience when going over to Baytown Wharf. I had a hard time finding the owners closet, had to call the mgmt company. They had a maintenance person meet me super quick and show me where it was. I was surprised how much stuff was in there to take to the beach - chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, kids toys and more! Like any condo rental, be prepared to bring extra stuff like toilet paper etc with you. I do wish the condo had a few more bathroom towels, that would have been very helpful. The beds were comfy and having 2 kings was so nice. We really enjoyed our visit to this condo, and look forward to coming back!!

Updated, Clean and Comfortable

First the unit is updated. Has great furnishings. It is clean. Everything seemed to work. Had plenty of dishes and utensils. Plenty of beach toys and gear to use. Golf cart was an excellent golf cart with the upgraded motor in it and not the slow poke kind. Really a great place to stay. I would book this unit again for sure. Things I didn't like about this unit. Xtra-Small washer and dryer. Washer has an agitator in it and you can only fit 3 normal size towels in it at a time. We were constantly doing laundry due to the size restriction. Cheap paper towels and toilet paper. Probably the worst you could use. While I don't expect for it to have enough for a weeks stay, I do expect the quality to be way better than what was in there. If you are spending this kind of money, please spend a couple of bucks more in suppling better toilet paper and paper towels to use til your guests get a chance to get to the grocery to purchase their own for the week. Those are the only 2 things I could find negative about the whole stay. It's a great unit!!!! I wouldn't hesitate at all in booking this unit again.

Relaxing family getaway

Loved the furnishings. A/c and water pressure good. Bedrooms and bathrooms good size and comfortable beds. Nice ocean view and right on the beach. 2 balconies and plenty of chairs. Having the golf cart was a major plus also - took it to grand Boulevard and Baytown. One tiny minor thing I noticed was some of the glasses and silverware were not completely clean; and one wine glass had lipstick on it still. We would definitely rent this place again.
