Absolute Perfection

Everything about this condo was top notch. It was exactly has pictured/described and then some. The host/property managers were quick to reply and did a thorough job of answering all questions. I cant say enough about this place and am thankful I found such an amazing place for my mothers 71st birthday trip.

Gorgeous!

Condo was beautifully decorated and so clean! The pics on here don’t do it justice. Check in is at 4 but ours was ready by 230. Has every appliance you need even an air fryer. The pool area doesn’t get a lot of sun on one side and people go down there early in the morning and put their towels on the chairs and then disappear. So if you like to layout I suggest getting down there early. Location is fantastic. Very spacious would definitely stay again if we go back to Destin.

Great location

Would highly recommend staying here! We have four young kids and loved the location of this unit. The beach and pool are both right there where we could split up while someone napped. There are some restaurants and shops within walking distance. Didn’t need to drive far to get to any of the other main attractions in the area. Clean and spacious unit. Beautiful beach! We went towards the end of March and we’re very thankful for the indoor/outdoor heated pool.

Condo is in a Great location- the owners took great care with decorations- appliances were great as well- The master bedroom mattress could be replaced- Overall, the condo was good- the second bedroom is definitely type with 2 twin beds-

Overall, very nice!

We had a great stay at this condo! The check in process was a little challenging. They said it would be ready at 4pm, and it wasn't. When I asked for codes, they did give them to me, and when we got to the condo (after 4), it was still being finalized by an inspector. Not a problem, we got in, and it was clean. The communication is prompt which is nice. The only negative I would say is no beach towels; we have stayed at other rentals and they have always included towels for the beach (disclosure, they say no beach towels, it wasn't a surprise, but I'm not packing towlels in already full luggage). There was an elevator down which made for long waits to get up and down, not the fault of this condo, but the chance you take with a high rise. We had what we needed, the views were great, and it was a fun trip!

This property was great. Great location to beach, restaurants, walking paths. This was also one of the most clean VRBO I have ever stayed at. We spent a lot of time on the balcony as well in the comfortable seating. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Time to relax

We all had a good time. Unit was clean and had everything we needed while we were there. If you never have stayed at Destin, you will enjoy the room. Great sitting on the balcony and watching the waves and people watch. Only complaint was the left side of the master bed felt as if there was a dip in it. Just bad in the back- other side was fine. Also, it seems as the years go by, the check in times get later and later. A whole day is shot waiting to check in. This year it wasn’t until after 530 that we got the text that room was ready.

Excellent 2br rental

We loved this property. Having the large balcony with two access points was nice. The location was great for access to beach, pool, etc. New TVs were very nice. Drip and pod coffee makers. New washer and dryer. Everything worked great with lots of nice touches.

Unit was great, property management was just ok

The condo property and unit itself were great. Good location, nice pools, wonderful views. The unit wasn't necessarily dirty when we arrived, but I will say that we left it cleaner than we found it. If you want to check in a few hours early, Destin Palms will happily take an additional fee. I have no problem with this, except that I was asked by Destin Palms multiple times what time I'd be checking out, and that it would be helpful to let them know if I'd be checking out early. Perhaps if you would reciprocate and offer me an incentive (just as you take a fee from me for checking in early) I would be happy to let you know that I checked out at 8am instead of 10am. Upon departure, I believe we left a few articles of clothing in the dryer. When we called Destin Palms about it, they said they could go up to the unit to check, but it would cost another fee just to send someone up there. Seems silly considering you were going to be in the unit to clean anyway. They said to call back next week and check again. Called back a week later and they acted clueless -- said no one cleaning had found anything (apparently checking the washer/dryer isn't part of the cleaning process) , and that there was another renter in the unit who didn't notify them of anything either. Sounds like either the cleaning crew or next renters liked our clothes enough to keep them. Completely our mistake, but Destin Palms was not the least bit helpful in resolving the situation. All in all, it was a great trip, but I think we'll find a property management other than Destin Palms next time.

You will want for nothing at this beautiful condo. Spotless, updated and has everything you needed. Just pack your clothes, pick-up groceries and you are all set! The view is amazing and there is a great indoor/outdoor pool. Great eats and shopping all within walking distance. Can't wait to go back!
