Condo is exactly like the pictures and description. Majestic Sun is a fantastic location to stay. We've stayed at other condos in buildings A&B and always recommend it to others. There's a small store in the bottom of bldg. B if you need extra ice, beach items, clothing, etc. So convenient! Also, there is a Kirwin's ice cream at the bottom of building B. **You can easily walk to the beach and when you walk back, use the showers by the outside pool to get the sand off. If you have children or even if you don't, it's so easy to run back to the room. This is almost priceless.**This condo has been updated and has a very modern but relaxed vibe. Like that it is away from the elevators. BATHROOMS: Awesome showers & love the mirrors with beauty lightingKITCHEN: Clean with plenty of silverware, cooking pans, etc. LIVING ROOM: Spacious with room to put a yoga mat or playpenBALCONY: Love the extra space as compared to the one bedroomMASTER BEDROOM: Comfortable King bed with amazing beach view2nd BEDROOM: Has door directly to hall bathroom. We didn't use it except to store our luggage and extra decorative pillows which we liked having a place to put them that was out of our way. This is a great room

Great location and ammenities

Property was ok, way over priced for what it is. I won’t be going back unless it is cheaper. I don’t think it gets much upkeep. 1 yr old was crawling on the floor as soon as we got there and her knees were black from the dirty floor. Shelf inside refrigerator was broken, the tv in the living room would freeze up where you could not control the volume or power off. Was left with cheapest toilet paper you could find literally your finger would go right through it. 💩

PERFECT Honeymoon Getaway ♥️

My husband and I came across this property after our original honeymoon plans fell through. We were very pleased with our stay! The only thing that we weren’t able to figure out was how to operate the television on the living room. The guide that was provided was for a remote different than the one in the tray. But since we didn’t spend a lot of time here, this did not hugely impact our experience. We loved the close proximity to the beach as well as other activities, restaurants, and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect beach stay!

This condo was absolutely perfect!! It was extremely clean and much larger than pictured. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 to spread out. The beach view is unbeatable and available from almost every location in the condo. We loved the high top dining table to continue the ocean view. The couches and beds are comfy, and the separate areas for sinks and the toilet/ shower in the master are perfect for getting ready. The heated indoor pool and 2 outdoor hot tubs were a huge plus for a Christmas break vacation, and the beach is basically at your door step. Everyone stops while you cross the street. We didn’t need them, but there was 1 adult beach chair and 1 kid beach chair available. One of my favorite parts was the awesome beach store attached to the Majestic Sun. They have everything you need! You can also walk to the Whalestail, another beach store, and the Emerald Coast Wineries store where you can sample some sweeter wines. The outlets and grocery store are also a super close drive. Be sure to grab salt and pepper, plastic wrap, etc. as they clean everything out after each guest. I can’t recommend this condo enough!!

Convenient

I will start with the positives. We typically stay at Ariel Dunes just behind this property but decided to try Majestic Sun since we have an 18 month old and the walk is shorter to the beach. The property is convenient to the beach and nearby restaurants. Unit was clean and view was great. Decorations were tasteful. Plenty of dishes/cups for use. On to the rest. Upon entry, the unit had a urine-like smell. We ended up going to buy air fresheners for the stay. The master bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The guest room is a bit smaller than it looked in pictures and lighting very dim. Any laundry that we did had to be dried over 2 cycles which was a bit inconvenient. The AC had to stay at 72 or above which is a bit warm (this is not the case at Ariel Dunes). The pool area was much smaller than we anticipated. Some of the outlets did not work. The TV would cut out frequently when our little one was watching his shows. One of the bar stools was very wobbly/broken and could not be used. Had to have maintenance come to fix the garbage disposal. My guess is that this building may be older than Ariel Dunes. Although the proximity to the beach is better, I am not sure we would choose to stay here again.

Spring Break Getaway

We decided to go back to Miramar Beach for our daughter’s spring break as we really enjoy it there. This time we opted to stay at Majestic Sun. We had a great view of the Gulf, a d it was in walking distance to a lot of places. We opted to pay for the beach service instead of lugging stuff to and from the beach, which was nice. The property itself was nice, clean, has 2 pools (1 heated, 1 not) and 2 hot tubs. The condo itself was nicely equipped with everything we needed, was comfortable, spacious (for 3 people), and easy to get in and out of. There is a parking garage right behind the property, which was easy to access for parking. All in all, would totally recommend this property!

Had a great time, it was nice to have the extra chairs provided. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner and carpet in kitchen needs to be removed, (dirty and slides too easily on the floor.) Comfortable balcony furniture.

Beautiful view even with hurricane passing by...

This was our 3rd time staying at The majestic sun. Our condo was just as pictured on the website and had an amazing view! The only downside of oor trip was hurricane sally which cut our beach time and closed businesses.... the ocean was still beautiful though...

Love Destin

The process was great! We loved the location and our property was nice. The decor was really cute. The chairs on the deck were perfect too. The one thing that was not great was the kitchen rug. It was very dirty and needs to be thrown away. We had to wash our feet at night to get into bed because they would be black from walking barefoot in the condo. Must have used a dirty mop to clean the floor. We did have a great week and the weather was beautiful.

Great place and location, but little to no customer service.

I would give it a perfect 5-star rating if there is a full-time customer service personnel at the front desk or a 24/7 guest services hotline. The place is great, but with all of the guests around, it's impossible not to have at least one guest concern that needed to be addressed right away.
