Location Location!!

We have always enjoyed our stays at Majestic Sun. Condo was very spacious and clean. It was nice that there were a few beach chairs and umbrella to use on the beach.

I loved the rental, nice clean and spacious!

Loved the view of the beach while sitting outside on the balcony in the morning drinking my coffee and in the evenings enjoying a cold drink. The beach was beautiful as always.

We enjoyed our stay.

Overall, we enjoyed staying in this condo! There are several areas with chips and nicks taken out of baseboards and the master bathroom cabinet but that didn’t keep us from enjoying our stay. The host was so pleasant to deal with.

Great stay!

Easy to find location, great parking options & very clean well kept property! Loved they supplied the basics until we could purchase some for our own. The balcony ocean view was stunning, rooms were very tidy & had everything needed for an extended stay- only complaint is not having comforters/blankets & the master bed could be more comfortable :/. They provided sheets and very thin blankets but after being sun burnt, we needed something heavier. Overall a wonderful stay and we plan to return in October!

Great Beach Time

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The technology worked quite well so that we could get work done with minimal effort. Beach access was so incredibly easy. We were welcomed wholeheartedly into the nightly pickleball games. The only negative: we love to cook after a day on the beach and then go out after. We had to go out for dinner every night because the kitchen just was not adequate for cooking a meal for our group. Again, not a huge thing since most people want to go out, but it will probably lead us to rent a different condo simply because we like to cook.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Majestic Sun for 9 years and in this particular unit twice. The location could not be better. This unit is great for our family and the size is perfect. I would definitely stay here again. A few suggestions that we would make are:1. The range takes forever to heat up and bake things~frozen pizzas specifically.2. The dishwasher is not the best.3.The couch is not very comfortable.4. There is no pizza cutter.Overall these things are very minor (except the range-we had the same issues with it last year) but thought they were worth mentioning. I would highly recommend the Majestic Sun and this particular unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family spent our Fall Break vacation at Majestic Sun 701B. The bedroom and bathroom accommodations were perfect for our family. Although the views were gorgeous the unit is definitely showing some wear. The sofa is looking a little dingy and the outdoor furniture is cracking from age. The unit was clean, but there are spots of scuffed paint on the walls and around every door knob. For the price of the unit some updates could be made.

The only things that we suggest that might need some improvement is the ice maker in the freezer didn’t seem to ever produce enough ice (so we got a bag of ice) and the balcony could use a table! But otherwise, great condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have visited Destin many times and always stay at Majestic Sun but always in different units. This one might be the best one yet. Very spacious, the beds were comfortable and the location can't be beat. The unit was clean and decorated nicely. My only suggestions would be to have a pizza cutter and a few more storage containers for fruit, leftovers, etc. Its so nice to be able to just run back to the condo to make a quick lunch and then head back to the beach. There were five beach chairs, an umbrella, a couple of boogie boards and a bunch of sand toys which was super nice. Overall it was another great week in Destin.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit has the worst equipped kitchen of any places I have ever stayed. The balcony the cheapest furniture you can buy. A balcony is supposed to be inviting. The exhaust fan in master did not work. I can tell tge owners do the cheapest renovations they could possibly do. The bathrooms needs updating. We will never stay in 701 B again. We stayed in 11-- B? at the opposite end have the owners take a peak in there. The difference between park place and the Bronx.

Majestic Sun 701B-review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for location, this condo was great. Unfortunately, it is in need of repairs. Cons: In the master bath, half of the light bulbs were burnt; the mirror was not cleaned and has water and toothpaste on it; the vent above the toilet would drop insulation every time someone above us would walk; there were only enough towels/washcloths for 6 people when I booked room for 10; cabinets were scratched and missing paint; no stopper in tub so only could use the shower. In the kitchen, half of the stove didnt work, very little pots and pans(had to buy pans to cook breakfast); top of microwave is broken. In the living room; the recliners are worn out and the couch is worn out. The wood from the couch frame would press on your legs when sitting on the couch and was very uncomfortable. We had to go buy batteries for the remote controls for three of the tvs. The dryer took two cycles to completely dry the clothes. the BBQ area is difficult to since you had to walk thru the parking garage to access. People smoked cigarettes and weed nonstop on the balconies. Pros: The TV in the living room is huge and was great for movies and sports. Also, the closet was stocked with beach supplies such as chairs, umbrellas, floats etc. I did contact Glass Casa regarding the towels and they were very prompt at bringing more. The ice cream shop in the lobby was a hit and very convenient.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed in 701B and the view was great. The overall condition of the unit left a lot to be desired. There are notes all over the unit about not "staining" the white washcloths when washing your face, or you'll be charged but the rug in the living room is very dirty. The parts of the rug that should be white are BROWN. The couch is filthy. The walls are banged up, peeling paint on the walls, and cabinets. The sliding glass door was a bear to open and we had to call maintenance. Unable to turn the AC below 72, and it never felt comfortable. Paying $500+ a night for the view. Not sure it's worth it.

Love Majestic Sun

Easy process to rent. Beautiful accommodations. Fabulous view of the Gulf. Had magnificent sunrises and sunsets, moonrises and moonsets since Strawberry Moon was occurring during our stay. Very enjoyable stay.

Great place & great area

Our room & the area were great. Glass Casa was very hard to get the information I needed from. I am used to having instructions on what to do from start to finish & did not have this with them. The email links they sent did not work & neither did the app they had. I was able to talk on the online chat to get what I needed but that was about it. Highly recommend the room/area but there was also no front desk to communicate with.
