The location is great, near the beach, loved that. A few things could make the stay better is to replace carpet in bedrooms, my preference is no carpet. I prefer less stairs, there's one upon entrance then up to the 2 bedroom, which mattress was worn. They did replace quickly, but 2 night went, and then stayed until the new mattress arrived. Location is safe. I purchased a can opener which I left, but otherwise it is stocked well with necessities. bedrisn

Proximity to the beach was the best thing about this property. The ad and description were a little deceiving as not much in this property was updated like it claims. It was a hodge podge of furniture and decor and as someone who only gets one vacation a year with their family and looks forward to a serene environment, the lack of cohesiveness was overwhelming.

I spilt water in kitchen wiped it up towel was really dirty thought I better wipe table before dinner also towel dirty couldn’t find tv changer tv left on when we arrived finally found stuffed in chair cushion cracker beside bed dog wouldn’t even eat it snack paper in master on floor toilet seat in master broken worst of all aren’t cool condo finally got new unit day and 1/2 before we left power in upstairs bedroom went out no electrician avail till sometime the next day my son does home repairs and was able to fix and get power the unit was very outdated and dirty I feel we should get some money returned for such a disastrous condo will never stay there again

Amazing location, house, and host!

The house was very clean and was a great choice for my family. It was also a convenient location as well, being only a short walk from the beach. I also really enjoyed that the house had two separate balconies. And the view of the ocean was wonderful! Suzette was also a very attentive and helpful host throughout the entire trip. I really appreciated her answering the questions I had. The only issue I had was with the ice maker. It didn't work during our stay, even after we followed the clear visual instructions on it. Just wanted to mention it so it's not a problem for another guest. Aside from that it was an outstanding stay overall!

Overall it was a pleasant stay, we loved the location, it was a few steps away from beach which was SO nice. Also, the covered parking was awesome!! Would stay again if we go back. Loved the two bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Dated, but convenient.

Host response to questions is excellent. I stayed here with my sisters and at first we were very happy. But, started noticing how dated it was. Towel fixtures were laying on the floors in the King room, half bath and kitchen. An industrial floor dryer in the kitchen. I asked how to get the tv in quest room to work,and it still didn't work. The decor was all over the place. Sectional that didn't stay together,floor lamp in front of closet, not enough wash clothes. Ice maker doesn't work in freezer. I opened the curtains to balcony, and the rod fell on my head.I sent a message to host, instead of leaving a review, but all she said was "thanks for the comments ". She seemed unconcerned, so I decided to leave this review. Great location, just needs updated.

Great Location!

We loved our stay! House is super convenient to the beach. Just a short walk over. We also enjoyed the walk to dinner at Pompano Joes one night. The house was very clean upon arrival. We loved the balcony and the ocean view. The size was perfect for our little family. We come to this area usually once a year so I’ll definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip.

Great for Workcation

Location was excellent - able to walk down to the beach with no issue. Chairs were provided to carry down with us which was excellent as we flew down to Destin. There was a slight miscommunication about check-in, but it was quickly cleared up. The condo is serviceable, with good wifi for 2 to take meetings at the same time and have space to work in different areas. We did discover the cleaning crew was waiting for us to clear out well before check out but we were able to quickly collect our luggage and vacate with no issues. We loved the convenience of the location, the ability to park directly below the unit, and the fast wifi. Our only complaint was that the sofa seemed to move no matter how it was sat on, but there was plenty of other seating to enjoy. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your wonderful condo!

Mother/Daughter Weekend

Location gets 5 stars. Awesome location! If you are coming to Miramar Beach and only care about being on the beach, this unit is good, but this place needs some love. Carpet is old, wallpaper peeling off, paint chipped, all fixtures, and decor are very old. Bring your own pillows, beach chairs and umbrellas and you will be fine. It does say chairs and umbrellas are available, but both chairs were broke and the umbrella was tiny, not for two people. It was a great trip to spend time with my adult daughter, we had a great time, so it was more about spending time with family rather than the quality of accommodations. As long as you know that you will be fine! No problems checking in and had no problems with availability of host or property manager.

Family vacation

It was amazing. The walk to the beach was short and sitting outside and looking over the beach was amazing as well. It was roomy for 3 teenagers. We will stay again. Thank you for our stay.
