Great View

Property management responded promptly to meet our needs. Due to our extended stay we required a vacuum and dust pan/broom. The microwave worked intermittently and was replaced with a countertop version while awaiting a new install. The bathroom drains were semi clogged and the were cleaned upon request. The pictures of the property's amenities do not show the wear. 3 dining chairs do not provide for 4 dining guests. The rattan was worn. The sofa is a sofa bed and required us to obtain a board so our posture did not cause our knees to be higher than our hips. The sofa fabric was stained. The TV channels were okay, but getting streamed channels was easier using our computers. The outdoor furniture was comfortable so we often preferred it and would bring in the chairs or lounger. The view over the gulf was excellent and the sun on the balcony perfect

Nice place, bring your own pillow and linens

The condo was in a great location with a beautiful view! You can see and hear the waves break from the balcony. Very close to lots of eating and shopping. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with utensils and such. There are NO extras here…. Don’t expect any games, dvds, beach towels, etc…. Bring your own. We had no blankets for the pull out sofa and every pillow and towel had stains. The sofa was stained as well. We reported it to management and they did bring some fresh items, but I would recommend bringing your own just to ensure you have what you need.

Overall the property was good. It could use a good deep clean. Bedroom light is missing a bulb, the bathroom fan needs repaired. Property location is great!

Won't go thru VRBO again.

I was charged double the fees... by VRBO and by the property manager. I chose VRBO for the cheaper price, but after the dual fees, it wasn't actually any cheaper. There was no reason at all to book thru them, and I could have found a cheaper rate with another service. Lesson learned.

Overall

When we walked in the property was not clean. There were dirty towels and linens piled behind the door. The beds were not made. After I contacted Vacasa about the issue they sent up a cleaning crew. My family and I had to stand around awkwardly for 20 mins while they rushed around trying to get the room clean. The fridge was not the one that was shown on our booking. It was an older white one with no working ice machine and multiple rust stains all over it. I was told the stainless steel fridge was being fixed. I liked the property itself. The view was perfect and my family enjoyed the time we spent there. It was just a rough start with the property not being clean when we arrived really put a damper on the rest of the stay.

Had and awesome stay.

Everything was perfect. We had not had s family vacation in a while. Everything was perfect. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Our only regret was not staying longer. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your very nice and cozy codo.

The facilities were nice and well kept. The bathroom could use upgrades but we were overall happy

Like the property. The coffee shop could have extended hours for us early birds. Logistically speaking the area is congested/land locked making it difficult to get around. Giving 2 stars because, I think the resort company should have told us that the red tide was so bad. You go to the gulf for the beach. When you cannot sit out on the beach because your eyes burn, sneezing, coughing and sore throat, it makes for a poor trip. We should have been told this. The beach is what brings the tourist, the tourist should be told of the situation and given a choice.

Great place for our family of 4!!

We loved the condo. It was perfect for our family of four. Our kids loved the bunk beds so much that they kept wanting to stay in the condo. Although we had to walk a short distance to the beach, the location was great. The kids loved the two BIG pools and us adults enjoyed the view from the condo. We will be back!!! (If we could change anything it would be to have more places to unpack your luggage. The condo was plenty big enough to have our suitcases out, but it would have been nice to unpack.)

Amazing experience, we will definitely be booking again!

The condo was amazing and perfect for our family of 5! It was nice having all of the essentials in the room already including plenty of towels. The laundry and dryer were also very convenient for washing our sandy clothes out and keeping up with laundry. Everything was perfect, I would highly recommend this property!

Gulf Coast view was to die for!

I always stay at the Ariel Dunes when I visit Destin. This place never disappoints me. The room had a great view. The cafe downstairs comes in handy if you want good food and dont want to leave your room. Condo located close to everything including shopping and dining.
