We have been coming to Sandestin for years and this is the best condo we have stayed in so far. Great location. We love staying in Baytowne Wharf and this is right at the Village which was very convenient. The condo was very clean and the host was very attentive to our needs.

Perfect location in Sandestin!

This was a great stay. The location was perfect for our teens to go downstairs and wander The Wharf by themselves. We loved being able to use the golf cart to easily get over to the beach or to the shopping area to get groceries. The condo was plenty of room for the 4 of us and was stocked well. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Location

I took my adult daughter and a friend for a long weekend in Sandestin. The location is fantastic and you can walk to restaurants and bars. We loved having the golf cart to go to the beach. The condo was large and would be great for a girls trip and/for a family. The kitchen was well equipped and the balcony was large and great!! The king bedroom and bath is a little outdated but it was fine for me. I will definitely stay here again!!

Convenient to EVERYTHING

Perfect location for families. Unbeatable convenience. One floor down to Baytowne dining and activities. One floor up to the pool and exercise room. Parking on the same floor as the unit. And the golf cart is a must for going back and forth to the beach! Unit is everything it is advertised to be. Looking forward to going back.

Pictures can be deceiving

I want to be fair but honest here. We picked this unit based on reviews and because it had a Golf Cart. The reviews were totally accurate. I had hoped that based on the dates the unit would have been updated by now but it has not. The location is awesome! The view is very nice. I had some concern about road noise and there really wasn't any. It was nice having the adjoining room to spread out. The bedrooms are small with no room for hanging or storing clothes, 8 hangers in each room. The kitchen, living, and dining areas are nice. The laundry was nice. The couch has seen a lot of use. There were several truly dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinets. Literally a frying pan that had been used and put away dirty in one cabinet and it's lid with grease spatters in another cabinet (one example). The floor has not seen a mop in ages, maybe it has been swept, but as my freshly washed house shoes can attest, the floor was truly dirty! Now the unit had an overwhelming smell of bleach when we arrived so I took that to be a good sign and the sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, etc. all looked pristine. When the owner says a "starter kit of supplies will be provided, bring your own" she means it! Not easy to do when you are flying in. So plan on a shopping trip. The bed was just as described, truly lumpy and it was on the frame sideways (to rotate the lumps?) Doors don't open, others don't shut. We definitely didn't need the Golf Cart! We will stay in Pilot House again but not in this unit.

Good overall, the only issue we had was that the golf cart never got over 15 mph. This annoyed people behind us and the brake lights did not work.

6 week stay in Florida

Large 1 bedroom apartment, well appointed with fully equipped kitchen, large wide balcony, comfortable bed. Great location, close to golf courses, pool, and Baytowne Wharf. Beautiful beach is a 10 minute drive away. Parking was convenient. This unit was a very good value.

Review of 217 Pilot House

We had difficulty finding the entrance of our building. We had to go to a restaurant to ask where Pilot House was. It was terribly marked regarding the pool. We had to hunt to find our way out.other residents that we spoke with couldn’t explain where it was either. The bed was very ‘bouncy’ but comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay. My wife usually leaves rooms cleaner than when we arrive so the ‘cleaning fees’ are a bit excessive. Great location and now that we know how to navigate the Pilot House, we would return. ….and the toilet needs bolted down as it is loose. Lack of silverware too. Ants in sink and around counter

Pilot House

We had such a great time during our stay. The golf cart is a MUST! We had a blast riding around the Sandestin area, going to the beach and seeing all the properties on the golf cart. Definitely a great trip and we can’t wait for the next one!

Amazing stay

Great location, beautiful grounds/pool. Unit was great, though kitchen could be stocked with more utensils etc. (to be fair the listing does advise of this). We enjoyed many breakfast’s on the balcony which is private. Great place to start the morning! Bed was a bit firm for myself, but a sponge cover is provided. We really enjoyed the use of the golf cart to get around the area. Would definitely stay here again!
