Great Location and View

We enjoyed our stay at this Beachside I condo. The location and view are amazing, and we would definitely stay at this property again. The kitchen pots and pans and tools could be updated, but other than that it was a great property overall.

Perfect location

We loved our stay! It was a great location with plenty to do nearby. Next time we’ll get a golf cart, that would have been so helpful in getting around the resort and exploring more. We loved Baytown Wharf and used the free shuttle to get back and forth from there but you have to wait for the shuttle, whereas the golf cart is ready when you are. The condo had a great view and was close to the pool and beach entrance. There were beach toys & chairs available in the condo which was nice. The kitchen was stocked pretty well. The only criticism I would have is the beds and the couch were not very comfortable. In spite of that, this was one of our favorite places to stay in the Destin area and I would highly recommend it!

Amazing View - overpriced with questionable maintenance.

First - I will say that the listing is correct - the view from this unit is fabulous. The overall property is nice, decent pool (not sure it's heated, it's quite cold), there are stainless steel grills for guest use on the patio, and a nice dining area adjacent to the grills. Parking is great too. The unit looks like the pictures - but it's sorely lacking in cleaning and maintenance. When we got there - our feet were black within about 20 minutes while we unpacked. We ended up buying a swiffer and cleaning the floor ourselves. The kitchen appliances are outdated, the dishwasher is missing the mount that secures it to the cabinets so it can wobble about, the pots and pans were extremely old and we had to tighten the handles on two of them (thankfully, I had a screwdriver). The washer/dryer work well - but they only handle very small loads. The water heater for the unit is very small - so stagger your showers. The master bedroom was great. But the second bedroom was not. We thought it would be perfect for our three year old, but the headboards are broken/loose on BOTH of the beds in that room, and there are gouges on the walls adjacent to each of the headboards that have never been repaired. We were worried the headboards would fall on our son while he slept so he ended up sleeping with us most nights - which, completely defeated the purpose of having two bedrooms. There were some great amenities included with this listing, and the Sandestin resort location is amazing... but there are plenty of other listings on VRBO available in in the same area that, in my experience, are better/more properly maintained and more fairly priced given their condition and the vacation experience they provide.

Great location front ocean beautiful view

We got on front desk before 4 check in time. Só front desk person told us to go to tower. was like 3:30 l believe , she said we are going to receive the code for gate in 10 minutes we never received so we find the gate open we got in and we wait on lobby for room number and all codes for pool and Wi-Fi password. We find the manager of tower he was very kind offer to go to pool and give direction to bathroom if we need. So 4 clock l call ask for all the information room number. The person told us they are working very hard to clean all the rooms and l should receive any moment. I said ok ; so 4:20 l call again and ask for room number, she put me on hold and finally give the room number, so said to can text me all doses so l don’t forget because is 3 codes plus Wi-Fi. She never did, so next l have to call again for the Wi-Fi.

Closed Pool, Dated Room

We booked this condo specifically because the pool was supposed to be open- a necessity when traveling to the beach with a 6 year old. We even confirmed on the way down that the pool would be open- however, for 3 days of our 5 day stay the pool was closed to pressure wash and seal the decking… needless to say, this was a huge inconvenience to us and a huge disappointment to our daughter. For the price we paid (including convenience and cleaning fees), the room was also not clean and the furniture was shabby (whoever took the listing pictures of the condo deserves a photography award). Additionally, when we attempted to dry our clothes (white shirts and dresses from a party) the dryer left huge, black grease stains all over our clothes…. All in all, we were very disappointed with the issues we had. We attempted to call management twice, and were promised a return call both times (which never happened). We even went in person to the management office at check out to voice our complaints, and all we were told was that management would “contact us at some point.” Given the cost of the condo, coupled with the pool being closed and the condition of the room, I would not recommend this property. We were very disappointed.

Beautiful property

Listing was exactly what we were hoping for. We were a little disappointed that the pool what was being worked on! Its in a great location and close to so many cool things We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family!❤

Nice vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay, the only recommendation I have is it got a little warm at night, seemed like most of air was going into 2nd bedroom, so either a ceiling fan or standalone fan would have helped.

Great location and unit! Tricky check-in

The location and unit were as advertised and offered a great experience. Check-in took place at the welcome center, which would have been fine, except that the gate access code and beach access code were not provided and the internet code was incorrect. We had to call / text several times to get the right information, but the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great room, terrible service

Room was wonderful and exactly as advertised! Communication & check in instructions from VRBO was horrible. Arrived and could not get in to room. Only phone number that I had for VRBO answered with a recording saying they closed at 6:00 (it was 6:15). Had trouble finding anyone on site to help us since we booked through 3rd party. Very stressful!! Finally got it worked out but could have been avoided with better communication from VRBO. Apparently they never sent me a link I needed. Another guest told me same thing happened to them.

Beautiful all around!

The property was amazing and the room was excellently maintained. The master shower is fantastic! The view from the room and the balcony are exactly as pictured here. We loved out week and didn't want to leave!

Perfect place for my son’s first beach trip.

The condo was clean and decorated nicely without being over the top. The view from the master bedroom is the perfect way to wake up on vacation. It does get a little warm in the room when the sun comes up, however we did find a tall fan to use at night that helped a lot. The condo was also perfect for our 1 year old. We didn’t have to do much to baby-proof the living room. It’s a short walk to the beach and to the pool. We had a great time.
