The condo was very clean and the view was amazing. Only complaint was the pools heating system was broken so the pool was not heated. It was fixed by the last day of our stay. Would definitely stay in this unit again!

Beautiful pool area and beach. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Lovely resort close to restaurants and shopping. Could use updated bedding and some basic pans ( pizza pan, cookie sheet). We enjoyed it and would stay at Westwinds again.

Convenient and Clean!

We came down for vacation on an 8th grade trip with a large group. We stayed at the Beachside condos in previous years. This was our first time staying at the Westwind and it was fantastic! Better than Beachside. Clean and convenient. The shuttle service was great as usual. Our contact was prompt and always helpful. Thank you for a great experience!

Perfect getaway

Great communication beforehand, so check-in was easy. The condo looks just like the pictures! Beautiful views and easy access to the great beach! We would definitely stay again when in Miramar!

Excellent location for a family vacation!

Great spot for a family vacation! Easy access to the beach, large pool with some shade, kiddie pool, and a pool cabana bar with food and drinks. Condo was exactly what we wanted and hosts were very responsive and easy to work with! We brought beach towels but I’d also recommend bringing bath towels and washcloths, as the condo didn’t provide a lot but does have a nice washer and dryer so you can wash.

Great beach condo

We had a great stay, everything was clean and modern. The space fit a family of 5 (3 kids perfectly). The view was perfect and steps from heated pool, hot tub and beach. We picked this place bc pool was well landscaped compared to others we saw. Also beach is great location, next to the condo beach area was for owners only section and no one was in that area. So didn’t feel packed. Kitchen was well equitable with everything you need and also details like cleaning supplies there. Loved having laundry and nice open floor plan. We loved the Bay wharf area- Tues fireworks, Wed fun cover band and all the restaurants had lived music. Very family friendly and not overly crowded. Only negative was bathroom sinks didn’t drain well.

Fantastic beach trip

We've been to Sandestin several times but this was by far the best condo we've stayed at! The condo itself was spotless, and it was fully stocked with everything we would need. We loved how both bedrooms had an incredible view of the beach. The Westwinds building was also very impressive - convenient beach access, beautiful pool, and easy parking. We had absolutely zero complaints and will definitely be back!

Gorgeous unit with amazing ocean views!

Unit was very clean and organized. I liked that there were no carpets and the furniture was leather so less likely to trap germs etc. Kitchen had the basics needed. Only thing I would recommend are more serving bowls, serving spoons, and maybe rubbermaid containers for leftover food storage for the family’s that stay in and cook rather than eat out everyday when on vacation. But we were able to make it work so it wasn’t a big issue. The facility had great access to the beach and ramps were available to roll beach carts easily. Loved the landscaping on the property. Views from the condo were gorgeous!!! Westwinds resort is in a great location and close to everything you need. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores and shopping plazas are all close. There are TRAM passes included with condo rental which was a nice touch although we didn’t use them. Marcella was extremely nice and made the check in super easy. She was very responsive and willing to make our stay as comfortable and simple as possible. I would definitely consider staying at one of Marcella’s units in the future.

Very disappointing unit!

Disgusting unit that was a total disappointment both in terms of condition of the condo and the property management. Husband and I are working professionals who sought a wonderful beach vacation only to be sorely disappointed. These are just some of the issues that we encountered at this condo • Broken central AC- instead they left two filthy large portable AC units • Furniture and bedding were of cheap quality…including the advertised beach chairs being broken and stained. Major updates needed. • Patio screen doors broken and need replaced in bedroom and LR. • All bathroom sinks and tubs clogged- handfuls of hair/grime pulled from drains • The unit was very dirty upon arrival- needs deep cleaning • Poor customer service- Property manager refused to move us to a different unit which we requested • After 48 hours, the refrigerator was still not cold. • We spent hours trying to resolve things with the property manager after our arrival when things should have been working and clean prior to our arrival • The worst part of our stay was not bad weather- we could have waited that out. Sunny skies would not have made us stay at this condo. You can find much better in beautiful Destin than this unit.

Great stay!

This was a last minute trip for us. Unfortunately, our first booking with another condo fell through at the last minute, so I was super appreciative of the Instant Confirmation Of this one. Everything was great and easy. We would definitely stay again!
