Nice getaway

The apartment is older than the photos on the website, but acceptable. The third bedroom, the children's bedroom, is smaller than in the photos. In fact, I wouldn't even call it a bedroom, it's more like a pantry with beds. Regarding the cleanliness, there were poorly washed dishes stored in the closet. Apart from that, the location is great and the common area is well-kept. It’s a small detail, but the elevator and common area do not have air conditioning and we missed a hot tub!

Respectfull beach area, people had music but not loud. You have to get up early to set up your area on the beach though. We set up 3Xs and get better location each time. Pool area is somewhat limited for kids but ours enjoyed the beach more. Hotel was clean, elevators worked, luggage carts rolled and grocery carts was a .

This was our first trip to Destin-Miramar Beach area and we would definitely book this property again. It was the perfect location to the beach, access to both main strips for travel to restaurants and entertainment. We visited at end of May and beginning of June and it was not that crowded at all. The condo was on the 16th floor and getting an elevator was super easy. They had grocery & luggage buggies so you could transport your stuff from your car to your condo & plenty of them! Smoking was allowed only in designated areas-which I liked because we are not smokers so no worries about a smelly condo in 1609. The decor was very coastal chic. Had everything you could possibly need. Starter toiletries which is typical for this type of rental. You only need beach towels. Our view was great! We could sit on our balcony which was furnished with a sectional set and an Adirondack set on the long patio. You could access these from the master and living area. There were buildings in front of us but we could still see plenty of beautiful beach and hear the waves. Speaking of noise—couldn’t hear any with doors shut. Ocasional dropped noise from above but we sleep with noise machine so nothing bothered us plus 10pm HOA noise ordinance. The bedrooms are spacey but the room with the bunks is VERY SMALL and hard to hold luggage so be aware of that (we kept in our spacey closets). Honestly it’s a great place so if you’re on the fence, book it-you won’t be disappointed!

Great, easy stay!

Perfect property for a leisurely stay with family. The views were incredible and the condo was very spacious. Centrally located to bars, shopping, restaurants, beach. Would highly recommend!

Amazing Ocean Views

Wonderful stay at this well appointed, clean and spacious condo. Amazing ocean view from the over sized balcony. The master bedroom with ensuite is large and luxurious. The beds in both bedrooms are comfy. Plus there is a bunk bed room which doubles as a games room complete with X-box. The kitchen is well stocked with premium quality pots and pans. The Cabana Cafe down in the lobby offers excellent food and entertainment. We loved their pizza’s. Real Joy Property Management were very prompt and attentive. The golf course on the property is very affordable. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this unit.

Miramar Beach Condo

Very Clean, cute decor, nice balcony furniture and well cared for. The only issue, this is not a three bedroom*. Great master bed/bath. 2nd bedroom with standard bed, 1/2 closet and dresser, attached bath. *There is a very small side room by front door with the bunks. There is no room for luggage/clothes, dressing or grooming. The two kids’ belongings had to be kept in others’ rooms. We were under the impression there was another bedroom and bunks were “extra” sleeping.

Perfect beach vacation

We loved everything about this place. We were walking distance from the beach. The kids loved the pool. Groceries were delivered right to us which was fantastic so we could cook right there. Places to eat are within walking distance. When we had questions they were answered quickly. We would have stayed here another two weeks if we could! Beautiful view of the water. I’d highly recommend buying or bringing your own beach tent to set up for the day with a wagon to haul your equipment. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Spring Break 2022

This is our second time staying at this property. We love the location and views from our place. Very clean inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen. The only thing missing was a dishcloth to do dishes and another kitchen hand towel would’ve been great. We would definitely come back.

Overall **Good* Experience

I have stayed at a lot of condos over the years and I have left this particular rental with an overall * good* experience although I feel it needs a lot of work in order to comfortably accommodate the eight person maximum. My family stayed for 7 days. Our youngest occupant is one, then a range from 6-35 years old. I was frustrated when we first arrived because I set my crawling one year old down to bring our luggage in—- he was the first on the floor. No luggage or shoes had entered the condo and he was covered , hands, knees and legs, in black dirt. I had to sweep and mop on my first hour of vacation. I messaged through the portal and sent pictures. I accidentally exited the site and could never recover my messages. Honestly, I waited to see if anyone from RealJoy would call me or start a new IM about it, but they never did. At that point, I was over it and wanted to just enjoy my vacation. There was no Xbox. The bedroom with the queen bed needs a new mattress PRONTO. When you lay down, you roll into the center. There is a huge dip in the center of the mattress. It is just simply unpleasant. I would have also liked to see a plethora of towels and wash cloths supplied considering there are 8 people needing baths daily. We had to wash and fold towels daily. The stove needs to be replaced or a maintenance check. It honestly took 20 minutes to preheat the oven to 400 degrees and 40 minutes to boil and cook some pasta noodles. We ended up using the small room with the bunk beds as a closet for our shoes. Our kids ended up using the pull out couch instead of the bunk beds because no one wanted the sleep on the top bunk. They were scared of rolling off because there is no protective railing. I didn’t blame them for that. The pull out bed was nice and seemed comfortable. The master bedroom was great. The bed was very comfortable and the view was beautiful! The bathrooms were pleasant. The showers and tubs were clean. The location of the condo was nice and I loved the spacious balcony. The patio furniture is nice and accommodating. I read a lot of signs stating “ this is someone’s home” and to treat it respect. We did. But at the same time, we rented a *home* and I feel as though a few rolls of toilet paper and paper towels isn’t too much to provide. We had to buy entire kitchen essentials. There was one dish rag... and not enough silverware by any means. We loved the pool and the walk to the beach was easy. We had a great vacation.

Beautiful View!

We had an amazing stay! The view is absolutely beautiful. The balcony is huge. The condo was extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again. The Cabana Cafe is the restaurant at the bottom of the condo area and it is very good and reasonably priced. If you get to the condo early there is no where to leave your luggage.
