Overall, it is a great property. Great location. Close, easy access to the beach. Nice pool area. Convenient for pets. Safe, secure property. Comfortable beds. The unit could use a deep cleaning, but we would definitely stay here again. We had a great vacation.

Amazing property! Perfect location with great views!

We absolutely loved this property! It is in our favorite part of Destin…close to our favorite restaurants. The beach view from the balcony is beautiful! The property itself was perfect….nicely decorated and clean. Will definitely return.

Beautiful Beach View!

Our stay at the Beach Retreat was nothing short of amazing! The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect! We enjoyed our beach view every morning and evening on the balcony, spotting dolphins in the water every day. The bunk room is small, but it was perfect for our teenage son. Two grown children would have been quite crowded. The size of condo 207 was perfect for the three of us. We had trouble getting into the unit upon arrival, but our host was very responsive and the issue was resolved within minutes, great communication. We spent every morning by the pool doing Pilates. Loved the privacy and beautiful surroundings in the pool area. The umbrella and chairs on the beach were so convenient, it truly felt like heaven lounging on this gorgeous beach. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

May Trip

The accommodations were nice except the bunk room was very small, hard for any teenager to sleep in the top bunk. It rained 4 of the 6 days so bad timing on our part, but we made the most of it.

Fantastic Location!

This was our second time to stay at the Beach Retreat, and first time as this unit and everything was great! The complex is very pet friendly, and this condo was perfect - clean, fantastic view, and well stocked. Hope to return again soon!

Enjoyable stay with some disappointments

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The view was great! The unit had a few issues that could be easily resolved. The floors had sand on them the moment we arrived. We made the mistake of walking around the unit barefoot which caused our feet to turn black. For the remainder of our stay we kept our flip-flops on to avoid this. Several of the receptacles in the unit were no longer connected to the wall properly. We observed this in the main living area but also in the bunk room. While we did have 2 adults staying in there for our trip, if children were using the bunks this would certainly be a hazard for them. The water pressure was quite low in both showers. The refrigerator had an ice and water dispenser built into the door. The water came out very slowly which likely is due to the low pressure and the fact that the filter for the refrigerator needs to be replaced. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom was not working properly. Even on it's highest setting it turned very slowly. With all of this said we never complained about any of the above as it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay and due to COVID we weren't interested in having maintenance come in while we were there.

Comfortable Beach Front Home!

This condo has great views and close to the beach. We really enjoyed the furniture on the back patio looking over the water and spent a lot of time out there. The beds were very soft and comfortable. Loved the big chandelier and round kitchen table for family meals. We would definitely return!

Lovely stay!

This was a lovely clean property and very pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Easy to get on the beach, pool and hot tub are great! The neighborhood was wonderful to walk your pets! We will be back it was a great week.
