Beautiful gulf view. Everything functional. Secure building. Easy parking. Elevators with a beachview, that's new on us lol. Condo size is a small 2 BR, 1 BA, ok for couple, 2nd BR very small just small bunkbeds, suitable for very young kid(s). Eating table very small, cheesy plastic chairs. We would replace the huge L-sofa swallowing the family room, and provide normal smallish sofa enabling room for rectangular size eating table. Also, rooms need overhead lighting (switches do not work). As a couple we enjoyed it though.

Not terrible but wasn’t great

There was black mold in the bathroom inside the picture frames and along the top of the shower. The pool construction was loud and even though necessary it kept relaxation at a minimum. The refrigerator would not get cold enough even after following all directions. Had a very aggressive neighbor who screamed and cussed so loud in the hallway while my children (11, 8, 6) all heard it inside their bedroom. I called for some assistance and was told “there’s nothing I can do about it.” I paid good money to have a family vacation and was very disappointed in the lack of help and respect from the property manager even knowing this behavior was completely inappropriate. Multiple of the light switches did not work. The dishwasher leaked all over the floor. This joint needs potholders as there were none and if using the kitchen at all, they are necessary. The toaster needs updated as well. I felt this property had so much potential but there were things that needed updating and have just been put off and not put as a priority.

Condo was nice, clean and spacious. It did have a very musty smell to it but we chalked it up to being right next to the ocean. Would suggest a bit more information about the resort that this condo is located on. Perhaps a welcome page that lists the areas within the resort that are accessible with the bracelets and tram passes. All in all I would absolutely stay here again! So conveniently located and easy access to the beach, the views from the room are worth every penny! My family is happy.

Two family trip

Property was beautiful, condo had lanyards by the door but no explanation about what they were for. Very little info on what was available in the area. Only communication was a call on day two from the company to check in. On day one it was confusing figuring out what code was to be used where (gates/entrances/room) Mattresses were HARD. Walk to the beach was short and easy, great pool sethup. Short drive to most of what we wanted, great location.

Frustrating

The first October review is false. We stayed in October. Manager does not contact back until 4th call finally got in contact. Had no water one day. Location is great. We had other friends stay in different unit and had a much better experience.

We had a blast! The Beach House restaurant was delicious and so easy to just grab! We also went to the Fisherman’s Wharf and the atmosphere was amazing! Great location, clean, easy access, perfect!

Spring Get-a-way

Condo was great overall. Kitchen was very small but functional. Master bed needs replacing as it’s pretty broke down. Sandestin resort itself continues to get busier every time we visit. Beaches were crowded, wedding parties and music were loud, and overall just losing its appeal.

Great Place To Stay

My daughters and I visited Sandestin in March. The condo was exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable and the condo very clean. It had a very nice view of the ocean from the deck which was wonderful to enjoy in the morning. We watched dolphins swim by on our final morning. I liked the security of the gated community since I was there with my girls (one minor). My only complaints were minor. In the description it was listed that beach chairs were provided in the MVH closet. I messaged where that could be found but got no response. When we got there, there were bracelets we had to wear as expected but also a tram card. Having never been to Sandestin before I had no idea how to access the tram or where the tram even went. I messaged about that but never heard back to this day. I did eventually figure this out but a more descriptive welcome book in the condo would have been helpful. Overall though it was an excellent stay.

Perfect getaway

Great for a couple. Beautiful view and all the comforts and conveniences of Sandestin. Bunks would be great for kids or a nap. Beach umbrellas were great on not so windy days. Might be a little small for more people, but the price reflects that. Great price. We will be back.

We likes the condo and our stay there. The required wrist bands were not on-site, but we asked around and we were told that due to shortage of wrist bands those monitoring were not. During our stay, the gate codes were planned to be changed. That caused problems getting into and out of Beachside 2. No help was provided. Just one person telling me to call someone else who could not fix the problem. A pan had the handle broken off of it which limited cooking. The biggest issue was the coffee maker. The coffee pot must have been broken in the past and was replaced with the wrong size coffee pot that would not allow coffee to enter the coffee pot. We rigged up something with a spoon once we made a coffee mess. With that said, the unit is nice and as shown in the pics. There just needs to be a little more time spent on making sure things are there as stated. I would rent the place again but I'll bring my own coffee maker and pans. The management group was responsive but not much help when I needed it. (Wrist bands and being locked out of the complex).
