I was overall pleased with the Condo. It was a bit smaller than the pictures depicted. The mattress feels a bit worn out. The grounds, people, and atmosphere are second to none.

Great Location! REALLY terrible bed!!!!

This condo has a great location and the golf cart made it so easy to get around the resort. The view was beautiful from the balcony. The condo was clean and the size was ok for our family of 4. We have an 8 yr old and a 10 yr old so the couch bed was big enough for them but children older than that would not fit. The couch bed was very uncomfortable and there wasn't a blanket for it...just sheets. Luckily, we were able to borrow one from my mom in a different condo (we returned it after use). The reason for my 3 star review is because the bed in the master is the WORST!!!!!! There have been many reviews stating this and the owner still hasn't replaced it. One response to this statement was "this is a personal preference". I am telling you there isn't any adult that would say that thing is comfortable. It was super lumpy, not even and LOUD with any movement. The pillows are really big and fluffy too. It definitely needs to be replaced ASAP. We won't stay in this condo again simply because of the bed. The only other issue we had was locating the "owners closet" with beach items. We found it outside of the garage doors but it isn't labeled and it is not clear that is where the beach items are. There is a code on the door but the code wasn't shared with us so I had to call MVH to get the code. The code should be shared with guests ahead of time like the gate and door codes are. Once found, the beach closet was super convenient and an added bonus.

Enjoyed Westwinds

Nice condo. Very nice Westwinds resort. Golf cart lots of fun. Bed in condo very uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced. This is the only thing that would keep us from renting this condo in the future.

Perfect location

Great place to stay. Clean and beautiful view of the ocean. Management was good with communication. I wish early check in was a thing again, would be nice when arriving early on a rainy day. Other than that I would definitely recommend this place!

Great view but awful bed

You know those units that you can tell the owners visit and stay there… This is not one of them. The view and amenities are excellent.. unit itself while it was clean and did not have an odor, just felt outdated, the bed was so lumpy that my husband had to sleep on the couch. The water would only remain hot for a few minutes which made showering difficult. While I definitely would stay again at West wins, I would make sure not to stay in this unit. When we arrived, the halo alarm was on and water was turned off automatically, thankfully, there were signs that informed you who to call to have fixed. Apparently mop was close to one of the sensors on the floor, which then alerted the system that it was flooding. Owners need to update unit.

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful time, the resort had so much to offer and everything was easy to get to from the condo. Golf cart was a plus. Love the app that they use as well, everything you need to know was easy to find!

Perfect location with a beautiful view!

We loved the location and view! The bathtub needs replaced or cleaned very well! It is not very appealing! We killed a few bugs here and there! The place is well equipped and if these things were taken of care of then it is a perfect place to stay!!

Beautiful condo and view

We had a great time during our stay. The property of westwinds was wonderful with the beach service and restaurant by the pool. The pool was perfect for kids and the kiddie pool was great too. The condo had an absolutely breathtaking view and a super comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again.

Things that need to be addressed

Nice furniture. Defects in property. Indentation in kitchen floor, bathroom lavatory facets work bacjwards(hot and cold reversed) curtains off the hooks, ice maker worked but not on the door….had to put your hands in the bucket. Golf cart was extremely hard to steer, bottomed out and brakes locked up…dangerous.

Golf cart was in-op which was a major inconvenience. Bring your own towels and wash cloths, there were only one when we arrived. Other than that it was a nice property and beautiful beach.

Golf cart was great but location of the cart on the listing was incorrect. Beach towels would have been helpful and the cleanliness of the patio was definitely disappointing. Beautiful view and great amenities.

Great experience. Did have issue with code to enter when first arrived.

Code for June given by management company was incorrect for parking garage and to enter building. Had to try and get this information on our own. Otherwise everything went very smoothly. Great week!

Great condo

Very nice condo! Huge bathroom and bedroom. Adequate living and dining space. There was a sofa bed, which we did not use, but it would have been tight quarters if we had. The condo was well appointed, adequate kitchen wares and and appliances, and all in good working order. Nice decor, tasteful, and not overdone. And no wall to wall mirrors, THANK YOU! We spent most of our time between the beach and the balcony. We did use the exercise facilities, and took the golf cart over to Baytown Wharf, as well. The pool is beautiful and clean. You can rent a beach set (umbrella and two chairs), but it is costly. We made good use of the beach chairs and sand mat provided. They were comfortable, lightweight and easy to access. Overall, a great vacation spot!
