Well maintained, clean, and beyond expectations

The property was well-maintained, clean, and ready for us! Check-in/checkout instructions were thorough and clear. Same with Golf cart instructions. Great view and private access to the beach! We couldn't enjoy the waters much due to June grass and purple flags, so we made use of the pool instead. Only advice is to bring your own pool towels and possibly bring trashbags in case you use up the spares. Loved the amenities kit, kitchen basics, beach toys, washer/dryer, dishes/pots and appliances

Very nice Condo

The condo was great with a great view. It was very clean and provided plenty of towels. Only a few issues. The condo building did a water maintenance from 8 to 2 one day. It was ok just disappointing. Also 3 light bulbs were out and the master bedroom door handle was broken and could not close the door all the way. Over good place to stay for vacation.

The Beach

Family Summer Vaca

Staying at this property was amazing. We have never been to Miramar Beach before . The waters/beach were stunning . It’s quite. Not in the busy Destin area, and there is a Walmart literally down the street away from the hectic traffic. Donut Hole was probably the best spot. We did go inland a little and eat at Nicks that was recommended by a local.the condo it’s self was absolutely perfect for 4 people . Even though it states it sleeps 6, I wouldn’t want more than 4. The 2.5 baths was perfect. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed minus a bigger/flatter pan for pancakes! The beds, WERE SO INCREDIBLY comfortable. I was torn on which room to take the one bedroom had an amazing view of the ocean but the balcony was not easily accessible, so the other bedroom with the updated shower is the one we took . . The ceiling fans squeaked when running which we soon got used to and the bathroom fan in the other full bath sounded like a tornado siren as our children called it . Other than that, I would recommend this place . Condo on the 12 th floor gave us an amazing view . My favorite part, the room is basically right off the elevator! We were able to park in the covered Parkin every time . Overall 5/5 .

Wonderful Time!

We had a wonderful time in SanDestin! It was our first time staying at Westwinds and it will definitely not be our last. Amazing amenities, beautiful pool, friendly staff, and very very clean. Our only note is the bathroom with the tub needs a new shower head. Kind of sprays everywhere, and doesn’t shut off properly when it’s in tub mode for the kiddos. Other than that, a wonderful condo with a great view. Thanks!

Great location with a fantastic ocean view

The location of the property is wonderful with an onsite restaurant by the beach. Proximity to the beach is a few steps away and the amenities within the community featured putt putt and basketball to name a couple. We were also able to hop over to the Hilton for daily breakfast, a major plus for for bypassing busy restaurants. The pool was heated so this saved our spring break for the kiddos during 60-70 degree weather. Our rental was clean overall, however the cleaning crew could probably have wiped down the remote controls. The fan/light switch in the master bedroom had some type of red residue on it that could have been cleaned prior to us arriving. Overall the experience was excellent and we would like to return.

Friends Vacation

This was a couples trip with some of our good friends. The condo was beautiful and in a great location. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was rainy a couple days but that didn’t stop us. We had an amazing time. I would definitely stay here again.

Great for 2 couples

Has 2 king bedrooms, both with ocean views and ensuite baths, as well as another half bath. We all had plenty of space and privacy, and visiting friends had a 'guest bathroom'. This building is at the end of the row and is a bit quieter than the madness closer to the public Sandestin parking and pool area.

Condo is very nice! Beds comfortable! Location is exceptional. Challenges with Property Management and online contract. Ended up having to sign two contracts even though after first contract I received a confirmation all was good.

Beautiful gulf front unit

First time in Destin

Overall, we were very pleased. We had the uneasiness of the first time but once there, we realized how easy everything was. It was a little strange figuring it out everything by ourselves - we didnt know where was the trash shutte, we never accessed the beach club, we didnt see the BBQ grills but again, in general we enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach was priceless, the environment in general felt safe, family oriented and glad to find no-crowds. One night we had fireworks that were beautiful, but we didnt know what the town was celebrating. We saw some flashlights in the beach at night but again, no idea what were those people doing. The distance from STL is quite long and we may like to try a second time, maybe by plane. I posted some pictures in Facebook and a friend got so excited that he may visit with his family as well. Thanks for everything

Mother - Daughter Get Away

The check in/check out process for this unit was extremely simple. Would stay here again!! Every thing was as shown on the listing. Proximity to the beach and pool were perfect, better than anticipated. Easy access to all desired places we’ve frequented in the past.
