This property is in a great location to the mall and several great restaurants. The unit was clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be back next summer!

Perfect Getaway

Everything about this trip was perfect. The location, the atmosphere, the condo itself. There were not a lot of people, plenty of privacy. The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Will 100% stay here again.

Very clean, great view, great location.

This was a very nice property. Everything was very clean. The view was incredible. The location was perfect. Pharmacy within walking distance that was open 24 hrs. Grocery store next to that. Loved this property.

Great location, great operators

We had a really nice time at the wind dancer in Miramar Beach. It was incredibly easy to get in and out of the property. The bunk beds were nice. The extra bedding was nice. We slept very well. A few things could be better, the amenities were pretty minimal like minimal toilet paper. No foil baggies that kind of thing. No sea toys or shovels to borrow. The pull-out couch was in pretty bad shape and there were some places in the house that needed mending as the property is older. However, we had an overall really nice stay and it was nice to be able to rent a few properties with our friends and be in the same building. The beach and the chairs outside were very nice to have. Would recommend

Great location

The floor could be cleaner, feet get dirty from the tile. The shower floor is cracked and has sharp edges. They brought a mat to go over it so we wouldn’t cut our feet. The staff are all very nice and the beach chair/umbrella service is great. The room could use updating, but we don’t spend a lot of time in the room so it was fine.

Great Location

We loved the location & the quietness of this property!! Loved that the beach was just a few steps away! Condo was very outdated to say the least but didn’t bother us to much! The bathtub needs to be cleaned around the faucet and spa attachments black from all over! The only problem we had was the bedroom vent had black mold all inside and coming out of vent! We started having a sore throat and discovered the vent!

This unit, Windancer 207, needs all new appliances…drier does not dry and the dishwasher is missing rollers. The balcony furniture needs to be replaced and actually the entire unit could stand some updating. The complex is in a great location and is small meaning less people on the beach. We will definitely be back just not in unit 207. We heard units 305 and 307 are nice.

Great!

I honestly was a little nervous booking this condo because of some of the reviews stating that the unit was needing upgrades, etc Overall, this unit was great! We were extremely pleased with the location and the condition of the unit. Every issue listed in the other reviews didn’t inhibit our stay whatsoever. Honestly, we wouldn’t have noticed them if they weren’t stated in other reviews. We loved being right on the beach and loved this condo! If you are looking for a place on the beach for an amazing price, I would consider booking this place! This is our second year staying at this condominium and we love it! There are a lot of return guests and it’s easy to see why. People are so friendly, including the beach service guys!

Great Location, Beach Sevice staff excellent

Great location, beach service guys very friendly and helpful. The condo could use some upgrades/updates . Shower curtain had mildew as well as the shower knob. Tub could stand to be replaced. Bed in master was comfortable. The dryer stopped working for a bit but started working again before we left. The living room furniture appeared to be dirty .Sone tiles broken on floor. I would stay at the location again but would perhaps request a different room .

Wonderful stay, but...

The following things need attention in Windancer 207: Tub/Shower needs additional cleaning. No light in the refrigerator. Dryer does not heat. Incomplete instructions for using lock on entrance door. Hall bath sink faucet drips- not a nuisance but a waste of water.

Beach Vacation Trip

Pro's - Near the beach a plus! Good view and easy walk to the beach. This particular unit compared to others in Windancer was more affordable for sure. Windancer is not a high rise. 4 floors max and using the stairs was the easiest. A plus for sure as elevator is slow. Very central location to shops, grocery, and restaurants. Beach Chairs included in the price of this unit! Plenty of parking! Con's - Condo units have paper thin ceilings and floors. You can hear every step of your neighbors above. Our below neighbors said the same of us. Beach chairs are packed right beside each other on the beach. No personal room between you and the umbrella set up 2 feets on either side of you. No question, these need to be better spaced. This was most disappointing. Gate (manual) code to enter and exit the beach area - Good security but a pain to do each time you are going in and out. If you stay on the1st floor at Windancer...this not an issue. This particular unit was slightly outdated in decor. Not a deal breaker, but the sofa and loveseat probably need replacing soon. Unit below us were smokers and there is no way to stop them from smoking on their ground floor patio.

Oceanfront Beauty!

The condo itself was clean and comfortable. Needs a bit of updating for the appliances. Large Appliances are older but did work. No fridge light, even after replacing bulb. If you are big on condo cooking be sure to take extra pots and pans as these are very USED. Bring a can opener also as the one in the condo is rusted. Bathroom toilet in one of the bathrooms rocks and you have to hold the entire flush. Other toilet is missing a couple screws since I found one on the floor and no idea where it goes. Jet tub has sign that it does not work. Washer and dryer outdated but did work. Bed is comfortable and TV works in bedroom. No extra blankets or beach towels. Pool was not heated at the beginning of the week, but after many complaints from people, someone came to fix the heater and was nice. Condo is on 2nd floor and depending on who rents above you for the week, which we had a family with 3 small children that ran rampid the entire week and sounded like a herd of elephants above us all week so was very loud and annoying. Beach chair service says first come first serve and is free, but what they don't tell you is that they also rent to public and those paying customers get prime seating no matter what time they show up and are already reserved days ahead of time. You are lucky to get even 2nd row and if you show up late they give your chairs away. Overall was a nice week, few minor things but it didn't ruin the vacation. We would stay here again but definitely top floor. Also, the movie night welcome basket was a nice touch!!

Good Stay with a few issues

Always stay at the Windancer the 2nd week of November. First time dealing with RealJoy. Got our bill today and was REALLY surprised there was an add'l charge of $115.00 (VRBO fee). As such, we will not be going through Real Joy again. When placing the reservation on-line, we were not made aware of this add'l charge. Found out that VRBO was supposed to let us know, but didn't. Very disappointed. The unit was great and had a couple of small issues with the unit itself, but was taken care of almost immediately.

Windancer paradise

We love the location of property and how close it is to beach. The view from balcony is awesome!!!!! The bed was very comfortable and we were happy with that. Condo could use a little updating but seem to be clean. We enjoyed our stay!!!! Thank you

Dryer needs to be addressed

It was nice except for the dryer. The lint Collecting Compartment doesn’t fit properly so the lint goes behind it. I vacuumed it out before I used it & after. I believe it is a fire hazard that needs to be addressed but other than that we definitely enjoyed our stay.
