Wonderful weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this great condo! It was everything the listing said it was! Great location- convenient to shops and restaurants and we felt extremely safe! There was some construction going on, but it didn’t bother us or ruin any part of our stay. The owner was quick to respond to questions and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The condo itself interoior was great and clean. I can't say I would recommend as they were working on the outside of the building right outside the window so we couldn't open any of the blinds or enjoy the view without looking at the workers directly outside our window. Plus we were awakened every morning to loud banging.

Nice one bedroom condo just a short walk from the beach. Loved that the owner provides beach chairs, umbrellas, etc… Bed was super comfortable! Communication with owner was easy and she was very responsive. Only issue was that I wasn’t able to access the balcony due to construction that started at 8:00 a.m. every morning. When I contacted the owner, she apologized and stated she did not know that would be going on. She offered a small refund which I appreciated!

Better than expected!!!

The unit was so nice. It was much bigger and in better condition than I was expecting based on the reviews.We really enjoyed the location steps from the beach. We were also able to enjoy the hot tub and pool. We met some really nice people on the sunset deck watching the meteror. We will be back!! Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Overall great property loved it. Wish there was a little more amenities like spices and dishes. The bed is in dyer need of an upgrade or at least a 4” foam topper. The lamp on the bathroom side of the bed didn’t work. Im sure it was just a light bulb needed. Overall would definitely stay here again!!

Couple Getaway

We had an excellent time! The condo is perfect for a couple. Pros: -Location was excellent! Sandestin is a great area and Luau has one of the best pools in the resort! It is also very close to the beach. It was just a 3-5 minute walk across a parking lot essentially. However there is a nice path and sidewalk. The location is a short drive to Grand Blvd, Baytown Wharf, and Destin etc. -Cleanliness-Condo was very clean and taken care of. -Shower water pressure-weird I know, but it’s nice to have good water pressure! -Tap Water-another weird one I know. But it’s nice to be able to refill bottles/cups with good tasting water instead of having to bring in a pack of plastic bottles. -Pool-just so nice! -Check In-all the instructions provided were clear and perfect. We also arrived earlier than we expected and were allowed to check in earlier. -Communication with the owner-she was so quick to respond with any questions we had as well as getting us an early check in code. -Beach supplies closet Cons: -The Inside of Luau-the resort itself needs a little maintenance/updating. However this does not reflect on the condo itself at all. The Condo was well maintained and updated. -The Bed-this is the sole reason for not getting five stars. And I wish I could have done 4.5 stars. The bed is so uncomfortable. A new mattress or even a thick mattress topper would go such a long way. We would have given it five stars had the mattress been better. Everything else was perfect.

The location is great - a very short walk to the beach. The pool was great and good size. The property was very clean and cozy. Minus one star because there was only 1 roll of thin (dollar store type) toilet paper and a half-used roll of paper towel for a 6-day stay for a family of 4 and we ran out of both a few days into our stay. We texted the host and she said she would contact the housekeeper to see if she was around, but does not guarantee anything. The host never got back to me on this - did not say yes or no, so we had to go to publix and buy some basic supplies. Did not appreciate the extra trip to buy something that should've been supplied by the host and more importantly, getting no further updates from the host.

WORKING VACATION

Nice Condo

Nice condo just a shirt 5 minute walk to the beach. We had a great time. Just a few things that could have been better. Coffee pot dripped a lot . Needs updated. Nice beach items to use but no beach towels supplied. Most places I have stayed had them. No dressers to unpack your clothes in. Minimal toilet paper and no hand soap at kitchen. Just a few things that would have made the stay better. Other than that great location to stay and very clean!

First time in Miramar Brach

We spent most of our time biking, walking on the beach, or reading at the pool area. The condo was adequate for sleeping and showering, but I am glad that I didn’t plan to do any cooking. There’s very little counter space and no dish towels. The coffee maker was weird, had no instructions and appeared to need a good cleaning- not the kind of appliance suited for rental property. The furniture could be reevaluated for usefulness and space efficiency.

Best value overall

We stay here simply to spot out other locations for our summer trip we were planning. The condo was nice but could use some updated furniture for better comfort on longer stays. The amenities were nice but the pool went under maintenance after our first day there so that was a bummer. The locker downstairs has almost everything you would need for a day at the beach. The view from the sun deck on the 20th floor was worth the WHOLE STAY in my opinion. Overall we would stay here again for a quick trip.
