"A magical farm you won't want to leave! Plenty of room to roam and sit outside to enjoy nature during the day. At night we really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub under the lit pergola. Slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed and loved that we had the option for A/C or a fan and that we could open the "garage" door on the unit for fresh air if we wanted. And finally, the best part of Alpine South, the family who runs it. They make you feel like you're staying with old friends from the moment...

"This property is right on the lake with beautiful mountain views on almost every side. We watched a beaver building his dam almost every evening-Like you could hear him chewing with his big teeth. The grocery store, restaurants, and activities are within a 15-30 minute drive. The resort itself is safe and beautiful! Consider a boat rental! If you’re looking for peace and quiet or a fun family vacation, this is a great choice! And yes, we saw a bear in town!"

"With the lake not yet active after the storm I was concerned if the younger adults would be bored or not have a great time. We all had a blast. That game table is a hit! Good for. A few minutes entertainment or several hours depending on what you want to play. Very comfortable beds. Very beautiful place. Easy to use tbs and kitchen ware. Enough technology to impress. But not ultra technical gadgets to complicated to use. We had an awesome time! Will stay again if available. Quiet neighborhood...

Fabulous food, beer, coffee and donuts at these nearby downtown spots: Baker’s Box, Trailside Brewing, White Duck Taco, Hendough and Umi!! "We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, had a beautiful view, and was so peaceful and quiet. It accommodated our family of five comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with the basics needed to prepare simple meals. The location was perfect - we enjoyed an afternoon of tubing and exploring the charming small-town shops nearby.The host was an excellent communicator and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We'd definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing...

"This historic house is gorgeous and charming! The rooms are impeccably decorated with unique touches, all different. The kitchen is perfectly modern. The grounds are lush with large trees, flowering bushes, ferns and more. The fences dog yard was perfect! The covered deck off the kitchen with a tall table and chairs along with a pizza oven and BBQ had a gate to the dog yard! Fire pit and yard games all just minutes to Saluda, NC. Book it!."
