  • Lake Lure is waiting for you at this romantic 440 ft2 retreat. Perfect getaway for anyone celebrating a last minute anniversary or honeymoon on a budget. This cabin is centrally located to the popular tourist activities in Lake Lure, Mill Spring and Chimney Rock.

    Cook some kabobs on the charcoal grill, dine on the screened-in pouch or sit in the rocking chair in front of the fire pit. The huge front covered pouch also offers comfy seating so guests can relax and get lost in a good book.

    The living room/kitchen area has a 50" smart tv (with guest mode) to stream their favorite shows while sitting on the couch, or eating at the kitchen bar. Carl has also added Netflix.

    The bedroom has a 43" smart tv, and comfortable queen bed with pillows and white noise machine to help lull you to sleep. Minimal light filters through the closed blinds, ensuring guest can have a pleasent rest through the morning.

    With amenities like a well stocked kitchen, AC, hair dryer and Wifi with 200mb, you have most everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Lake Lure Ingles grocery store is conveniently located just a little over a mile from the cabin.

    Excellent launching pad for exploring the charming towns of Mill Spring, Lake Lure, Columbus, Tryon, Saluda, as well as great for taking day trips to Asheville, Hendersonville, Blowing Rock, Black Mountain and more!

Fully furnished kitchen with good quality cookware (no Teflon), close to grocery store, Lake Lure, and a lovely private backyard and screened-in porch. Every detail from closet hangers, luggage rack, beach towels, and toiletries were provided. One of the best places I've every stayed!

Whimsy cabin was absolutely a treat. The craftsmanship that Carl put into this cabin had us blown away. It is magnificent! Could not stop looking at all the fine details. Great value, peaceful and clean. Carl is a great host and has thought of everything to make your stay such a delight. We will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this cabin!!

The host was very welcoming when we arrived gave us a tour of the cabin and it was beautiful and the best part was he made it all by hand ! I had a wonderful stay there !

Such a unique cabin. It's a perfect place to just "get away" for some time. The owner is a true craftsman and it shows in every inch of this cabin he built. We were blown away. Every amenity you could want but the charm and the detail he put into it was over the top. And he's working on some more of them. Can't wait. Sitting on the screened in back porch and enjoying our coffee while nature woke up was a blessing. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone for any length of time. You won't be disappointed.

Fabulous cabin. All the essentials plus many thoughtful additions. Carl created beautiful woodwork that is both visually appealing as well as functional. We enjoyed the front porch lounges with the wooded landscape and fairy lights. Unfortunately, it was too warm for the firepit. Maybe next time.

Most perfect little get away! The host was very friendly and helpful. The place was quaint and has the most comfortable bed EVER! Very relaxing and peaceful. The place is beautiful and has lots to do nearby. We went to chimney rock and then went into town and grabbed lunch before relaxing at the house. 10/10 will recommend to anyone and already looking at our calendar to see when we can come back!

Everyone has a nervous feeling when they rent a hotel or vrbo. Its natural to be worried a certain property meets your expectations. Carl was a great host. His propery was clean and very well organized. We liked all of the little items on hand at the cabin. It was priced affordable and was a stress free overnight rental from beginning to end. Great place if your looking for a gem!

I truly enjoyed my stay! Let’s stay off saying that the cabin is Beautiful! Put together so nicely and everything had me amazed! I was in awe!!! The pics do this place no justice, so very beautiful!! Carl was an amazing host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nice! We will be back!!!

Host was amazing and very friendly. His communication is excellent not only did he communicate before our stay he checked in to make sure everything was good after. Highly recommend. Cabin is very comfy, neat, well organized, and clean. Kitchen had everything you need to fix any home meal you can imagine. Will stay again!

It was a gorgeous house with fantastic amenities. I really loved all the fun lights and the custom wood work was extremely impressive. Super close to Ingles with walking/hiking super close too. Lake lure is such a lovely place and this was a great home to stay at!

A short weekend trip that’s unforgettable. The cabin was even better in person. Simply beautiful. Carl went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our trip. Don’t think twice about this one. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

We had the best time! The cabin was beautiful inside and out. The attention to detail and gorgeous woodwork was second to none. It was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. It was SO relaxing, peaceful, and private; just what we were looking for. We can't wait to go back!

Clean and enjoyable stay

Highly recommended. It’s a great place to “get away” and Carl has crafted an awesome and unique cottage that has it all. If you like the outdoors and making a fire and feeling like you need to getaway from city life every once in a while then this is a great place to do it!

The owner, Carl, is awesome! This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed and it is absolutely beautiful. Even the outdoor area is clean. Carl made us feel welcome and safe. He was attentive to our needs and left is to our privacy. We enjoyed grilled steaks on the park-style charcoal grill by the fire pit (clean firewood provided). Lights and Bluetooth speakers out side and huge TVs inside. Attention to detail was impressive. Lake Lure is great too. We will definitely return when we're back in the area.
