"We stayed at this property for two days with 4 adults, a 2-year-old, a 1-year-old, and two elderly dogs. What we walked into at 4 PM check-in was not a vacation rental — it was an active construction site.Construction workers were still clearing debris from the property until 9 PM the night we arrived. "The houseboat was exactly as described and met as well as exceeding my expectations. Very peaceful, overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable and I love every minute of our stay, just wish it had been longer. We met Capt. Ron on our last night. He is a very nice man and loved talking with him. "The property is very new. The area around it near the Henrico convention center is very new and construction is ongoing. Thus, the parking area is confusing. I am sure it will quickly improve as the improvements are completed. Breakfast was good with eggs and sausage/bacon included. I would return."
