Dughters graduation gift

The stay was great. 1 1/2 blocks from the ocean. There are many restaurants within a few blocks of walking distance; and hundreds with a 15 min drive. Located directly between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami; so trips to either would be very easy. We had a great stay and would reccomend this place to anyone who wanting to goto the Lauderdale/Miami area.

Great location in Sunny Iles

Nice condo in a quiet area. We were 2 couples and had plenty of space. Beach is walking distance approximately 5-8 minutes. It was great to have beach chairs and a cooler supplied from the condo. The pool is nice. We didn’t get to use it much. The condo is dated but clean abd has everything we needed.

Charming but a bit dated

Frank is a very great host. Communication was easy and nothing was missing. The condo was really clean. There is a dishwasher and the king bed was comfortable. There is no washing machine or dryer in the apartment but there is a laundry room a few steps away in the same building ($3.50 a load). The condo is very big, and it felt very safe as you need a key to enter the lobby and the parking area. We also appreciated the big kitchen table. The cons : The kitchen hasn’t been renovated and looks very dated. It’s functional though! The living room couch is also a bit dated and has probably seen better days. Overall, I would definitely recommend Frank’s condo! 4.5 stars ⭐️

Owner is very dishonest

We stayed at the property from Sunday till Friday. Owner lied about construction that was planned for entire week with drilling and banging on the balconies just above the unit. Owner disclosed only “emergency fix on Balconies that didn’t bother anyone”,when I asked if it was loud. I learned from the building management that construction for that section was for entire week, and host again was claiming that it was only for couple of hours. Our car was also in the dust from construction in other part of the building above his parking spot. Lots of vague promises from owner and avoidance of specifics. In the end the host submitted absolutely false claim that we did damage to his faucets, toilets, sofa, Fridge and Freezer and stolen his towels. We were very accurate, disposed the garbage and checked out when he asked to, and luckily made photos and videos just before check out. Very dishonest!

It was OK

Frank's place was nice and big, but there were a few things that would be better to improve for the 5-star rating. 1) The floors in the apartment were dirty and covered with sand. It did not feel clean when you stepped barefoot and the socks got black at the bottom immediately. 2) The sofa's cushions must be replaced. Those looked and felt dirty too. They were out of shape and were uncomfortable to sit on. 3) The entrance to the smaller bedroom had a marble step which was high enough to be needed to step over it, but small enough to notice right away. My son hit his toes and almost broke it when we just came. We covered it with the beach towel for the rest of the stay so no one else got injured. 4) The water pressure in the bathroom near the living room was so bad, that only our 5 years old can tolerate it. For other people, it would take forever even to get wet.

Great week

We had the chance to spend a great week at Frank's condo. Great service from our host. Despite the air conditioning problem, Frank fixed the situation. The condo is super well located with lots of items for the beach. The pool is well maintained. In addition the condo is not up to date, it would need a few brush strokes. Thanks to Frank and his dedication. I recommend this condo. Stephane

Amazing Experience! Highly recommend

Loved our stay in this property. Frank has been an amazing host. He made sure we are comfortable. The AC was out but it didn’t bother us but he right away bought two new electric fans and sent a technician to fixed it. The property is clean and close to stores and of course the beach 🥰. If it’s your first time in Miami this property is really a good spot. Thank you Frank for the wonderful experience and hoping to be back soon. Giving your more than 5 stars for taking good care of us!

Wonderful Sunny Isle Stay

Great location in safe and quiet Sunny Isle. Our host, Frank, was very organized. Check in and out super easy. Unit had everything we needed for a 3 week stay. Place spotless. Beds very comfortable. Beach easy walk. Lots of shops and restaurant within walking distance. Pool was warm! Highly recommend!

Perfect family vacation with the beach less than a 10 minute walk. Safe, quiet, and clean.

This property is taken care of for being an older building. It's very clean and quiet. Everything that we needed was provided for our stay. Frank was very organized and clear about his check in/out procedures, and responded to all messages promptly. I definitely recommend this property.

Amazing Area

This place is extremely close to the beach, restaurants, and some stores. There are chairs, towels and even a cart to take to the beach. The beach is such a short walk away. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. Frank was very nice and easy to work with. If we are ever back in that area we would certainly stay there again.

Amazing Accommodations

What a great apartment!! This place was clean, comfortable & located in a great neighborhood. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk in a nice, safe area. There were many dining options, shopping choices & watersport attractions within a short drive on the A1A. Would DEFINITELY recommend Frank and his Oceanside apartment!! 5+ stars…..our entire family was happy with our stay!!!

Traumatic VRBO experience

Lets just say We won't ever book via VRBO again. The hosts home was infested with roaches, silver fish and bed bugs. What was a family trip associated with a major surgery turned into an traumatic experience that was 7 days long. We cleaned the house up and down, but roaches of all sizes roamed the house at any given time on the walls, in the refrigerator and in the kitchen. We told the property owner THE VERY FIRST day, and the following day he had maintenance spray two squirts of a banned roach chemical in the kitchen ; the maintenance man said they poured the banned chemicals out and replaced it with natural chemicals, took a few photos and that was it. It was ridiculous. We were scared to cook food, and threw everything out immediately. The bedsheets were dirty, everything was dirty. We spent over $20 washing the towels, sheets and pillow cases ( the comforters are too large to wash ) The master bedroom shower didn't have a door. The living room TV is about 19 inches and is not in HD, only 4 channels have HD and the quality is terrible - same issue for the master bedroom TV - second bedroom doesn't have a TV. In the kitchen, there is no vent so when you cook it quickly fills the entire house. The sink disposal didn't work. You can hear the neighbors slamming their doors throughout the day. You have to drive 10 minutes to the nearest public beach. On top of all the challenges we faced, the property owner had the audacity to LIE and say we broke his MICROWAVE and SINK - in attempts to withhold a $99 property fee! That whole week in Miami was disgusting due to the property we stayed in, and communication with VRBO been stressful and simply embarrassing.

Property was in an amazing location. Very spacious and equipped with everything in the kitchen. Beach chairs and accessories was a bonus. Communication with property manager was great. Checking in and it was very easy.
