As stated in the title, great location in downtown and also a clean apartment. Aside from that, the property manager was terrible and unresponsive. The first night that we arrived, the digital lock on the closet door would not stop beeping, assuming because the batteries were low. We reached out Esma to figure out how to fix this because it was making it impossible to sleep. By the next morning, she still hasn’t responded to our inquiry of how to fix the beeping sound. So we finally decided to try and stop it ourselves…we simply took out the double AA batteries that powered the lock…no more beeping. They refused to give us our $200 deposit back and they said it was because “they found the closet door lock broken”…which was completely untrue and all that was needed is to replace the batteries. Our check out was on Sunday morning, so we spend an hour or 2 cleaning every inch of the apartment, as to avoid any issues with cleanliness…the cleaning lady had a minimal job to do once we checked out…the only thing that we are guilty of if waking up late after 10am check out and didn’t end up checking out until 11…. The posted rules (even posted in the apartment) stated that for every hour that we are late to check out, a $50 fee would be added…we checked out 1 hour late and Esma figured that, that was enough to keep our entire $200 deposit….stay here at your own financial risk…like I said everything about this property were FANTASTIC!!!! Expect for the management…so I would play it safe and find a different property in the same area… I’d even go as far as to say find an identical or very similar unit in the same hotel (The W), just not the owner of this particular unit….thanks, I know I rambled a bit, but these types of detailed comments are the ones that I appreciate.
