"This was our first time stay here and it was a great experience. We had 12 adults there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We also had 4 boats and it was a little tight at the docks, but we were able to make it work. Very nice area. The water was a little rough at the docks over the weekend with all the boats going by. It did settle down during the week. You can tell they have been working on the house to improve it. "

"Wendy was an excellent host. She has a beautiful property with so many pretty views and places to sit and relax, and she's so kind to share it! We were too busy relaxing and enjoying being there to take photos. We will definitely be returning! "

"This was truly a gem and well beyond our expectations. This is a true home away from home. Most of our time was spent on the deck looking at the beautiful view, the dock or on the water in their kayaks. The generosity and attention to details of Felice and Steve, truly shows how they understand what it means to feel at home. We had a wonderful week and will definitely return."

"Cottage was just as pictures presented it to be. Lots of room inside, lovely view. Shane was very easy to deal with and ensured that everything was perfect. Only downside was road in was a little rough. Would definitely recommend this getaway and would stay here again. "

"We were a large party of 15. There was ample room that no one got in anyone’s way. Soooo much for everyone to be entertained. Can’t swim off the dock but the use of kayaks etc was amazing. Game room was a hit as was the hot tub. Massage chair was amazing. Property was large and beautiful. Private spot so we didn’t need to be afraid that we were too noisy. Plenty of essentials provided for cooking. Very responsive host. "

"Absolutely loved it. Kids and dog loved the suave and we all sieht s out of time exporting the shallow rapids and counting the different birds we saw. We met Cheryl briefly and she recommended we take reclining lawn chairs to the front lawn to watch the stars - we did that after a fire and it was fantastic. Lots of games, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. We rented a canoe from McReary Resort siren the road and also made a day trip to Murphys Point. Just loved it! "

"Potato island was absolutely perfect for our family, and we had a fun, relaxing week long stay. The cottage is older..rustic but very clean and had everything needed for prepping food. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and we felt so mentally refreshed. The kids swam every day rain or shine, we went canoeing, read books, sat around the camp fire, played games, and the dogs had a blast running around the island. As an owner of three small dogs, this was a huge stress...
