Excellent Stay
There were 9 of us so we rented both cabins. What a perfect setup. No matter the weather there are plenty of things to do both inside and out. Quiet and tranquil location set in the quaint little town of Mentone. We will definitely consider this location for future trips.

Friends Weekend Trip
My friends and I had been discussing just such a trip for about a year. We were finally able to pull it off this November weekend. The house is exceptional in all aspects and covered all of our general needs in fine fashion. But it was the setting itself that made the weekend so memorable. Leaves changing, cool temperatures, cloudless skies, the wonderful house and all it offers and the addition of friends rarely seen made it as fun and relaxing and peaceful a time as had in quite a while. Many thanks to Holly for being so great and easy to work with.

Good group space
We come to Mentone once a year for a dance weekend and have had various experiences with renting houses/cabins. This was one of the best places we've stayed. The common area between the 2 houses proved a great place to hang out. We cooked a lot, did a little paddling and enjoyed being together. Nice spot for a large group

Great rental for family & friends
Set up for both Eagle's Rest and Owl Perch are nice for large gatherings. Enough room inside and outside so you are not on top of each other. Both beautifully decorated and both very well stocked kitchens. Will be booking a summer trip soon!

Awesome family retreat!
This property was just what we were looking for! We needed a place for my dad and his siblings to reunite for a needed get together. It was great seeing them watch the Bama game together for the first time in years. 😊 With both cabins there was plenty of room! All amenities were provided! We also enjoyed fishing and kayaking in the lake. Serene place!!

Peaceful retreat
Holly, the concierge was a joy to work with. We were celebrating Christmas in July and they were gracious enough to decorate a bit and allowed us use of their tree. We had all 5 kids, their spouses and 4 grands. Plenty of room for all. The lake was fun...we fished, boated and swam. We will definitely be back!

This property was just perfect for us! We hadn't seen each other since the beginning of the pandemic and had 2 babies during that time who hadn't met yet. This was a very special trip, and we are so happy we chose these cabins. We rented both. Spacious and extremely comfortable with gorgeous porch and outdoor space. The kids had a great time swimming, fishing, exploring, and paddle boating. The babies were very comfortable as well. We will book again! Highly, highly recommend this spot and hosts. I would have done another week. lol.

We had everything we needed in this beautiful getaway. Lots of space. Great toys & books for kids. We loved playing pool and taking walks around the property we had a wonderful time.

Perfect Family Getaway
This cabin and the adjoining cabin was perfect for our short getaway with our kids and young grandchildren. The cabins were unique and cozy. There were a multitude of games and books for the young ones and the older kids enjoyed the pool table and fire pits. We plan on returning hopefully soon 🤗

A Fantastic Time!!!!
Our family enjoyed the relax atmosphere and coziness of the home. There was plenty of room for the children to play and the adults to talk and share with one another. All the amenities that were there were explored and it was a wonderful weekend to spend New Year Eve and New Year Day. We have precious memories of our time there with family! Thank you for letting us experience your home because it was a blessing to us!!

Better Than We Could Have Hoped For
We rented both cabins for a family get-together and both were clean, spacious and better than the pictures! The location is breathtaking with plenty of room to run around or stay cozy indoors. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare Christmas Dinner for the entire family! Hoping to make this an annual tradition!

Tranquil and Beautiful
It was rainy and cold so we didn't get to enjoy the property as much as we had hoped, but the fall foliage was popping and we managed to get a fire going in the fire pit. We enjoyed the pool table. The property was beautiful. We loved all the decor in the yard including an antique fountain. Holly was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Family Trip
This is a such a lovely property. We rented both cabins. What a blessing! There was plenty of room for all of us and enough privacy for both of our families to feel comfortable. The cabins are wonderful. So many small touches, decorations and unique art pieces make the cabins feel like a very loved home. You can tell the family takes very good care of this place. The little lake is fantastic. Our kids immediately took the paddle boards out. The canoe was great for lounging. We were sorry that we didn't get to enjoy the firepits because the weather was just too hot. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of linens. I cant wait to rent this place again!!!

Family bonding
We had a wonderful time at these two cabins. The booking process was simple and Holly was very friendly and responsive. The cabins are connected by a very well maintained courtyard/patio and this was perfect for our group of 13 including older kids who wanted their own space. The cabins are clean and adorably decorated and were very well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the little lake and had a great time using the paddle boat canoe and paddle boards. A very charming pleasant stay all around. Thank you for making this a great family trip!

Great Getaway!
The property was more than ever expected! The houses were perfect for 13 family members. All essentials were available . The houses were very clean. The lake was very convenient and a lot of fun for adults and children. Amenities were plentiful…the visit helped busy schedules to be forgotten. Hopefully we will make this an annual event for our family!

Beautiful Property
The cabins are perfect. They are even bigger than they appear in the pictures. We rented both of them for family and had a great time. Kids loved paddle boarding on the lake. Beautiful setting with lots of extra touches :)

Amazing stay!
The cutest cabin ever. Maintained extremely well and a beautiful property. They were even able to give us a late check out. There was enough room for our large group! We will be back!

Wonderful property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The cabins were spacious enough for our large group, and immaculately stocked with just about anything you could possibly need. The kids as well as the adults loved spending time on the lake, and the property itself was well maintained and beautifully landscaped. Tons to do indoors as well though with the beautiful weather, we spent most our time outdoors. Would not hesitate to stay here again, and recommend it to all who are looking for a quiet stay in the mentone area.
