Excellent Get Away Place!

A group of church friends came together for a weekend retreat, and this was an excellent atmosphere. We had a wonderful weekend of cooking, eating, Bible study, games, and laughter. These cabins were so comfortable and had everything we needed for a great weekend together. It was a stormy, rainy weekend and we were warm and very comfortable in these great cabins!

Excellent Stay

There were 9 of us so we rented both cabins. What a perfect setup. No matter the weather there are plenty of things to do both inside and out. Quiet and tranquil location set in the quaint little town of Mentone. We will definitely consider this location for future trips.

Friends Weekend Trip

My friends and I had been discussing just such a trip for about a year. We were finally able to pull it off this November weekend. The house is exceptional in all aspects and covered all of our general needs in fine fashion. But it was the setting itself that made the weekend so memorable. Leaves changing, cool temperatures, cloudless skies, the wonderful house and all it offers and the addition of friends rarely seen made it as fun and relaxing and peaceful a time as had in quite a while. Many thanks to Holly for being so great and easy to work with.

Good group space

We come to Mentone once a year for a dance weekend and have had various experiences with renting houses/cabins. This was one of the best places we've stayed. The common area between the 2 houses proved a great place to hang out. We cooked a lot, did a little paddling and enjoyed being together. Nice spot for a large group

Great rental for family & friends

Set up for both Eagle's Rest and Owl Perch are nice for large gatherings. Enough room inside and outside so you are not on top of each other. Both beautifully decorated and both very well stocked kitchens. Will be booking a summer trip soon!

Awesome family retreat!

This property was just what we were looking for! We needed a place for my dad and his siblings to reunite for a needed get together. It was great seeing them watch the Bama game together for the first time in years. 😊 With both cabins there was plenty of room! All amenities were provided! We also enjoyed fishing and kayaking in the lake. Serene place!!

Peaceful retreat

Holly, the concierge was a joy to work with. We were celebrating Christmas in July and they were gracious enough to decorate a bit and allowed us use of their tree. We had all 5 kids, their spouses and 4 grands. Plenty of room for all. The lake was fun...we fished, boated and swam. We will definitely be back!

Family Vacay

This property was just perfect for us! We hadn't seen each other since the beginning of the pandemic and had 2 babies during that time who hadn't met yet. This was a very special trip, and we are so happy we chose these cabins. We rented both. Spacious and extremely comfortable with gorgeous porch and outdoor space. The kids had a great time swimming, fishing, exploring, and paddle boating. The babies were very comfortable as well. We will book again! Highly, highly recommend this spot and hosts. I would have done another week. lol.

Beautiful Place with Plenty of Space

We had everything we needed in this beautiful getaway. Lots of space. Great toys & books for kids. We loved playing pool and taking walks around the property we had a wonderful time.

Perfect Family Getaway

This cabin and the adjoining cabin was perfect for our short getaway with our kids and young grandchildren. The cabins were unique and cozy. There were a multitude of games and books for the young ones and the older kids enjoyed the pool table and fire pits. We plan on returning hopefully soon 🤗

A Fantastic Time!!!!

Our family enjoyed the relax atmosphere and coziness of the home. There was plenty of room for the children to play and the adults to talk and share with one another. All the amenities that were there were explored and it was a wonderful weekend to spend New Year Eve and New Year Day. We have precious memories of our time there with family! Better Than We Could Have Hoped For

We rented both cabins for a family get-together and both were clean, spacious and better than the pictures! The location is breathtaking with plenty of room to run around or stay cozy indoors. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare Christmas Dinner for the entire family! Hoping to make this an annual tradition!
